Nightpaw's warrior ceremony

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar padded out of his den, and headed to the head of camp. As he called for the camp to gather, he thought about the apprentice being made a warrior. He was a good apprentice, if a bit impatient. Nightpaw would make a good warrior. He looked around the crowd, and saw Nightpaw at the head of the crowd, his pelt gleaming from the wash it had been given. The same light was reflected in his eyes.

Nightpaw gave his pelt another small wash, a few strokes here and a few there. Then he looked expectently at his leader.

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar moved slightly forward, and breathed in. "I, Wolfstar, leader of Windclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn."

He looked down at Nightpaw, and spoke. "Nightpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your lives?"

Nigtpaw paused, this would be a huge responsibility. He limped forwards and sat down right in front of his leader. Because of his injurys from the rock fall he thought he could never make it as a warrior. He looked up at his leader and solemly sweared.
"I do."

[Naruto]

Runningpaw stared up at his friend,pride radiating from his pelt. It'll be me up there in half a moon. He thought,puffing out his chest. It didn't make much difference to his tiny stature,but his green eyes shone with excitement. Even though he was eleven and a half moons,he was still very small.

Nightpaw glanced at Runningpaw. One of his best friends. He flicked his ears and gave a small nod. Nightpaw was now 13 and a quarter moons. He was slightly older then Runningpaw but there friendship was not based on age. He looked back up at Wolfstar, he watched, he waited, he hoped and wondered what his name would be.

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar nodded. He would be a good warrior, of that Wolfstar was sure. He barely limped, despite his wounds. "Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior names. From this day on, you will be known as Nightfeather. Starclan honors your bravery and strength, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Windclan."

Wolfstar stepped forward and rested his muzzle on Nightfeather's head.

"Nightfeather,Nightfeather!"Runningpaw yowled,his voice strong and proud.

Nightfeather steeped forward and licked his leaders shoulder.
"I was beginning to think I would never be a warrior. Because of my injuries." He confessed.

A giant two leg ran over the whole camp.

Duskshadow went along with the other cries, watching through slitted eyes, as usual mind you. His bulking shape slipped into the shadows before looking over to Rosepelt.

Nightfeather padded over to Runningpaw before he began his vigil.
"Runningpaw, what would have made that more speacial is if you could have been there. Anyway I must start my vigil." He said glancing at the dying sun.
"I will talk to you in the morning." Nightfeather said padding towards the camp entrance wher he would spend the night.

[Naruto]

Runningpaw nodded. "Save me a spot in the warriors den."he called after him,his eyes sparkling.

[Cheesles]

"Sure!!!" Nightfeather called over hs shoulder.

[Naruto]

Runningpaw nodded and got up,his black fur muddy. He trotted into the apprentice's den.
