Silverstar glanced back as a thud was heard, a few pawsteps behind her. Mud had fell again, collapsing under his own singed legs. Reaching him in a fluid stride the silver she-cat reached down to pick up his scruff, alongside Jayfang's muzzle. Struggling to keep grip in the slippery rain, she pulled, grunting beneath his heavy scruff. "JAYFANG! We have to get him out of here! Back to his camp!"
With long strides she tugged, neckstraining with the wolf's weight. Luckily this one was rather small ...
Trudging towards the edge of the Gatehring area, Silverstar halted to look back at her clan ... all panic-stricken. She knew not having her there would make them even more scared ... but she couldn't leave this wolf to die. No matter how hard this was ... she wouldn't give up. Dropping the scruff for half a second, she shouted to Rainpelt. "GET THEM HOME! I'LL BE BACK!"
Making the edge of the clearing in one last bound, Silverstar continued ... neck still straining; now mroe a burn than a simple strain.
The slender she-cat followed the wolves, trying to remember where their camp was. Dodging the occasional firey branch, she was amazed they hadn't been hit yet. Entering WolfClan territory she rested, in the middle of a terrible place, she let her mind be serene... a moment before a branch fell beside her, snapping back to the present ...
Heat surged through her pelt, her previous adrenaline rush fading, making her leg pulse with pain. Pushing on, Silverstar came within seeing distance of camp and was amazed at how long they had come. Her jaw ached with utter pain, rippling through her. The wolf was SO heavy! Fatigue waved through like a tsunami, making the she-cat wobble unsteadily. Building up energy she grunted to Jayfang again. "Are you alright?"

Shadowclaw couldn't move, his legs throbbed and the skin burned. He wasn't going home. He saw two figures coming towards him they were fuzzy. All his vision was fuzzy, "Help me Starclan...." He murmured as he drifted out of conciousness.

(Take him back to riverclan camp, don't warry he lives, but he is very ill. He will stay deputy but he can have a replacement while he is sick.)

[Naruto]

Rainpaw dragged Shadowclaw out of the Gathering place,and set him down gently outside. Her neck ached but she needed to take him to RiverClan. She grasped his singed scruff again and began hauling him to RiverClan's camp,trying not to let him go over rocks or pine needles.

Mud was barely conscious when a second cat came to help him. His head lolled limply,and he drifted into an uneasy sleep. He dreamed about the day their father died trying to kill Flint,and how horrified he had been. He groaned softly,and his soft voice was stricken with pain. Pain for his leg,for his flanks,for his father and mother,and for Autumn when she saw him like this. In fact,he thought he head her soft-step coming towards them....

Autumn raced from the camp after seeing her brother wasn't there. "Mud!"she howled,terrified for her little brother. "Mud!" She sniffed the air,nothing but the stench of singed fur wafting to her on the wind.

I don't get it...What the heck is going on now?

Creamfur sprinted towards the entrance with all of the other ThunderClan Cats.

OOC: Silverstar saved Mud from dying ... Jayfang helped.

The silver she-cat flinched as another wolf ran towards them, huge pawsteps leaving deep indents in the ground. The wolf seemed to not see them ...
"He's over here!" Silverstar yowled, voice booming around the forest, lightning still flashing in every direction.

[~ Jetter ~]

"Sliverstar, we need to go NOW, you Clan is very scared without their leader, we need you!" she hissed in worry to her leader and one of her best friends. "THUNDERCLAN GO!"

[Naruto]

Autumn gasped and ran back towards the scent of burt fur and flesh. "Silverstar?"she panted,exhausted. Her fur was splotched with singed fur and burn marks,and they stung like crazy. "Have you found Mud? Please tell me he's okay!"she pleaded,not realizing that the blackened pup at the leader's paws was her brother.

[Riber~]

Silverstar nodded slightly, looking down at the sodden bundle of fur. Checking for a heartbeat she mewed calmly; although voice tinged with exhaustion. "He'll be fine after some rest ... In the meantime ... We have to get him back to camp!" Reaching down to pick him up again, the silver she-cat grunted, back leg on fire. With full tugs she managed to drop him in camp, eyes dipping closed with her exhaustion. Staggering slightly, she got her bearing, mewing softly. "Can ... y-you ... handle ... it ... f-fr-rom ... here ...?"

As Shadowclaw was dragged bact to his camp by another warrior he thought of Riverclan, of Nightjaw, of his special place in the clan as deputy. He opened his eyes slowely and said to the warrior,
"Take me to my camp." He fell back into the warriors jaws completely unconcious.

(He does live!)

Rainpaw grunted as the deputy fell limp. "Don't mention it,"she grunted to him,pulling him into camp. "And I'm an apprentice."

Autumn nodded. "Do you need help back to ThunderClan?"she asked in a worried bark. She was grateful to this cat,and was worried about her brother at the same time.

Ed was never here either...if you guys DIDN'T GO ON SUCH A POSTING SPREE EVERY TIME I LOG OFF I could've done something with him. Pendragon was also back at camp. ><

IC: Shadow jumped down from the tree, lightning illuminating her fur and making her heterochromic eyes gleam. "RiverClan! Follow me!" she yowled at the top of her voice. They should leave... StarClan was causing everyone so much pain--

Something sharp ripped through her leg and she collapsed. As she rose, Shadow glanced down and gulped down a shocked cry as she saw that a pointy piece of branch, shoved by the racing wind, had impaled her hind left leg faster than a Twoleg's Monster. Limping, Shadow decided against tearing it out in case it caused more bleeding, and tried her hardest to ignore the horrible pain and the feeling of the ends of the branch that had appeared out of the other side of her leg. "RiverClan!" she yowled again, getting to higher ground. She couldn't see anymore RiverClan cats left behind, adn started off on her journey back to camp, praying that her warriors would be alright.

"ShadowClaw?! ShadowClaw!" she called, spotting the deputy at the paws of nother warrior. She nodded her gratitude, not caring for the face or clan of the warrior, and continued home to gather the main body of her cats. ShadowClaw would be OK, she told herself, he's strong. The rain was so heavy and her pelt so soaked through ShadowStar no longer felt cold, and through her numbness of limbs barely felt the gales of wind on her face and body.

((Shadow is no back at RC camp))

Rainpaw nodded to Shadowstar. The lightning illuminated her small form,her fur pressed against her body. She dragged him towards his leader,needing to follow her to Shadowclaw's camp.

Silverstar felt the tug at Mud's sister's relent at taking her back. She simply shook her head, mewed a few simple words and flicked tail in a silent good-bye. "No problem ... good luck." She began padding away, slowly and carefully, back leg on fire and stinging pains hitting every muscle in it. Going as fast as possible she slowly made her way home ... pawstep by pawstep ... exhaustion just a moment away ...
