"Stop!" his commanding meow echoed through the forest, Nightstar sat down on the ground his claws sheathed and he looked completely calm, despite the vicious scene going on around him. His black pelt was damp, and his eyes were cold, peering at Bengalbelly as he nearly killed his own apprentice. Slowly he was putting things together. Heatherpaw had betrayed her clan for the love of the little tom Badgerpaw. "I knew something like this would happen..." he murmured to himself.

Heatherpaw didn't-no couldn't answer,her voice coming out small and raspy as she panted,exhausted and full of pain. She couldn't scream anymore,her throat grating her voice so bad that she couldn't open her mouth. She looked up,at the clouds that covered the stars,with a helpless expression.

Bengalbelly ripped furiously at Heatherpaw, gettingg angrier and angrier. He couldn't take it anymore, he just wanted it to stop. He swiftly brought his paw to Heatherpaw's neck, ready to rip her throat from her body. Just as he was about to do it, he heard Nightstar's command.

Bengalbelly growled, but stopped himself. He kept his paw rested on Heatherpaw's throat and kept his gaze locked on her. A mixture of every emotion swam in his eyes.

Heatherpaw winced slightly,the rain pounding all around her. She couldn't figure it out. Why did Bengalbelly stop? she wondered,her eyes narrowing as she gazed into his. "Why didn't you just kill me?"she spat weakly,fury that she was still alive sweeping through her. I should've died long ago...

"She has betrayed her Clan, and her fate will be for the Clan to decide. With her captured the prisoner will eventually die, lost and alone." meowed Nightstar stepping in between Bengalbelly and Heatherpaw. He bit into the scruff of the young cat and anger flowed out from him, but he looked utterly calm.

Bengalbelly just growled in response. He didn't need to explain himself, he found it obvious. Unlike her he was a loyal cat to his clan, and as he should, listened to his leader. Even if he didn't want to, even if he wasn't to kill her right then and there, he did it anyways. It was what he was supposed to do.

Bengalbelly stepped back, letting Nightstar do whatever he wanted to. He was done with Heatherpaw, he didn't care what happened to her anymore, he just didn't want to see her. Ever again.

Heatherpaw gave up to Nightstar,falling limp in his grasp. Her eyes locked on the ground,and she refused to look up. "Why me.."she muttered,her tail trailing the ground. Why did it have to be me that saw him in the clearing? Why did I have to go back to that hole?

Bengalbelly kept his eyes locked on the ground. He repeatedly dug his claws into the ground. He was stuck in this motion, almost as if in a trance. He could hear Heatherpaw's yells of pain in his mind as he stared at the ground.

Tears blurred her vision,her throat raw from screaming,Heatherpaw let herself be dragged back to camp,or wherever Nightstar was taking her. Her wounds throbbed steadily,and she winced continually. She kept seeking for the protecting of unconciousness,but sleep wouldn't come.

Badgerpaw was hiding in the brush of his territory, waiting for thier leader to show up. He saw that cat and his paws itched with fury. He pounced on the leader again and hoped he had knocked Heatherpaw out of his grasp. "Get off of her!" he yowled with anger clawing every word. He would love to kill this cat at this very moment, but he knew he couldn't if he had no back up.

Badgerpaw saw Heatherpaw laying in the dirt dead. Sorrow filled his eyes, then fury flooded his fur. He was going to get revenge. He started to rip into the black cat's fur, not caring if he died or not. He had no one left in the clans.
