A Warrior at Last [OPEN]

Silverstar yowled the call to gather the cats below her. Standing utop Highstone she felt so large; so bigger-than-life. When the cats had arrived her voice boomed over the clearing.

"I, Silverstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice . He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and although has run into a few bumps in the road, I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Leopardpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Rainpaw watched as Leopardpaw became a warrior. "I'll be first to call your name!"she mewed to him excitedly.
Mistkit sat beside her,her eyes as big as the moon. "Will you tell me about being a warrior?"she squeaked.

Leopardpaw flicked his tail, proudly nodding towardss Mistkit and smiling at Rainpaw. Finally he was going to be a warrior standing beside Silverstar, he was finally becoming a warrior. Despite the 'bumps' on his path to warrior hood. "I do." he mewed almost croaking at the words. He was now increasingly nervous and almost scared. Being a warrior meant a whole new set of problems for him, and a lot more regulations. Could he handle them when he couldn't even be a good apprentice?

"You'll do fine!"Rainpaw murmured encouragingly. Mistkit looked ready to explode with excitement.

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw sat looking at Leopardpaw, the one she loved. She purred happily, hoping she would be made a Warrior next.

Dawnfur craned her neck to see the new apprentice. She thought of how Leopardpaws mother must be feeling.

[Naruto]

Mistkit looked up,the sun shining in her blue eyes. 'I hope I'll be an apprentice soon!'she thought excitedly.

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw turned around to Mistykit "don't worry, you will" Lillypaw purred to the young Kit.

Mistkit looked at her,her eyes as big as full moons. "Really?"she squeaked.

Sunflower watched Leopardpaw and Silverstar intently. She sat down next to Lillypaw and Mistkit. She smiled as Lillypaw encouraged the kit. "Hush, now." she purred quietly, touching Lillypaw's shoulder with her tail. "Right now it's Leopardpaw and Silverstar's time to speak." she wrapped her tail around her paws.

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw nodded and shuffeld closer to be adopted-like mother. Then she watched her Den Mate.

[Naruto]

Mistkit nodded shyly and wrapped her tail around her white paws,listening intently.

NightFire looked at Leopardpaw, after having many problems in the clan, he had finally proved his loyalty, SilverStar was pleased with her apprentice, he will make a great warrior she told herself

Silverstar looked down upon her apprentice, now soon to be a warrior. It was his time to shine .. and he would shine as brightly by the sun.

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Leopardpaw from this moment on you will be known as Leopardstrike. StarClan honors your courage and your bravery and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."

The she-cat bent down slightly to rest her silvery muzzle on Leopardpaw's head. "I told you you would make it." She whispered softly and waited for the cheering to begin.

"Leopardstrike! Leopardstrike!" NightFire mewed hoping the others will join her

"Leopardstrike! Leopardstrike!" she yowled her approval, smiling.

"Thank you." Leopardstrike murmured licking the shoulder of his leader, and men-... No, just leader. He had a sad look in his eyes, this would be end of his friendship with his leader, he would be just another warrior. At least they had had a good time. But quickly his sadness dispersed replaced with pride, and joy, as his friends called out his name. Are you watching mother, I'm finally a warrior. Not bad for a Half-Clan cat am I? he thought to himself looking to the sky for his mother.

[Naruto]

"LEOPARDSTRIKE!!"Rainpaw and Mistkit yowled loudly in support.

[Lillyflower]

"Leopardstrike, Leopardstrike!!" Lillypaw called out looking at him.

"Leopardstrike, Leopardstrike!!" Creamfur called out.

[Cheesles]

"Leopardstrike! Leopardstrike!" Dawnfur yowled with her clan.
"Leopardstrike!" After the cheering stopped and before Leopardstrikes vigil began she padded over to the new warrior.
"Well done!" She exclaimed.
"I remember the day I became a warrior. It was in Leafbare and boy was it one cold night!"

[Naruto]

Rainpaw purred. 'In two moons,I'll join him in the warrior's den!'she thought excitedly. "Your nest will be cold tonight,"she teased lightly,butting his shoulder to welcome him to warriorhood.

"Oh yeah, tonight I have to sit vigil." he mewed before placing his tail over his mouth, now realizing that he shouldn't be speaking at all. His eyes reflected his sadness, now he was separated from everyone he cared about. Life as a warrior was just as hard.

[Naruto]

Rainpaw nodded in understanding. "Won't be long till I have to sit vigil...."she murmured.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Dreamkit watched with big eyes as Leopardpaw became Leopardstrike. "Cool name!" She whispered to herself, not wanting to ruin any conversation he might be having before his Vigil. The silver tabby trotted besides her mother, gazing up at her with round eyes. "Do you think I will ever become a great Warrior?" She asked, her tail swaying from side to side.

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw got up and padded over to the newly named Warrior. "I'll sit with you if you want" Lillypaw meowed gently.

Creamfur padded away into the Warrior's Den.
