Shadowstar?

[Riber~]

Echopaw padded slowly towards Shadowstar's den, tail dragging along the dusty floor. "Shadowstar? Leafsong- Leafsong is dead. I must talk to you about multiple things"

[Edward]

Shadow jumped to her paws, her ears and tail erect. "Leafsong...? No..." her eyes widened in disbelief but she shook herself, determined to save her sorrow for another time. Bottle it up...again. She padded up to Echopaw and gave a short hug, placing her dark head beside Echodrop's before drawing back to sit down. "Go on." she said softly.

[Riber~]

Echopaw took the hug gratefully, she had always respected her leader. When Shadowstar backed away, the new medicine cat murmured softly, trying to hold herself together. "She was killed by Snowstone rocks. They crushed her. During my dream Snowtail showed me rockleaf; closer than what we have. She says that ThunderClan and WindClan will try to take our territory. ShadowClan wants it as well. She said to try and make ThunderClan our allies; WindClan as well. ThunderClan is stronger though." She paused slightly, catching her breath. "Snowtail also provided me a bundle of rockleaf. Enough for multiple cats. Also ... I must travel to Snowstone to get my medicine cat name. To become a full medicine cat. To take Leafsong's place."

Shadow nodded thoughtfully. "It doesn't surprise me that Shadowclaw would want my territory...but if Windclan and Thunderclan both want it too, how can it be safe to keep them as our allies?" she asked herself. "We should all be friendlier towards the cats from those clans; I doubt Snowtail would lead us badly."

[Riber~]

Echopaw listened to her quietly, nodding occasionally. "Yes. That is wise Shadowstar." Her paws kneaded the ground anxiously, ready to get going to Snowstone. She didn't want to be missing if her clan needed her. "Now if you don't mind. I must get going to Snowstone."

[Edward]

"Wait..." Shadow half-called, "Do you think you will need an apprentice or warrior to help you get there?"

[Riber~]

Echopaw looked over her shoulder, voice quiet and easy. "This is a journey I must endure alone..." Then added with a small grin "And you think too little of me Shadowstar; I can handle myself." She mewed before hurrying out of the leader's den.

Shadow tilted her head, smiling at the cat. Sighing, she turned around to pad back into her den, to rest some more.
