Echopaw snarled back at Shadowclaw, eyes slitting. "DO YOU EXPECT ME TO TRY AND SAVE WHAT'S GONE?! Do you want us all to have more pain?! Well I don't Shadowclaw, I don't!" Her fur bristled and stood on end, tail hanging on the ground, trailing behind the she-cat. She began to turn away before he murmured his last sentence.
The new medicine cat whirled around, eyes flaring with dark emotion. "Don't you know better then to talk to your medicine cat like that?" She muttered, voice now low and filled with hatred and misery.
A paw was raised, claws unsheathing, before she realized what Leafsong must be going through, how she is in StarClan. The tabby she-cat lifted her nose in the air, praying quietly. "Why did you have to leave us Leafsong? We need you!"
As Mountainclaw padded into the clearing she glared at him, nothing more than a glare. Traitor.

Leafsong sighed as the fight ended. Hopefully her old apprentice would become a great medicine cat; she would make sure of it. "StarClan, you had no right to end my duties." And she decided that she would continue mentoring her apprentice in her dreams.
(Sorry, gotta rp a StarClan cat for a sec.)

Shadowclaw looked from Mountainstar to the medicine den that Echopaw disapeared through. He looked at Mountainstar and said,
"I must go." He bounded off towards the den.
