Lillypaw's First Night In The Den

Lillypaw padded into her new Den. She found her bedding and sat down in it. She washed her fur and then curled up and fell asleep.

Leopardpaw was having a nightmare, Silvercloud's words had left a mark on him, and the image of the evil cat Tigerstar was ever present in his mind, right now he was witnessing all of his evil acts and gory death over and over and over again. It was like StarClan was telling him that he would be just like Tigerstar, doomed to die with no one at his side. Leopardpaw howled loudly in anger, before his eyes opened wide. He was just in the Apprentices Den.

Lillypaw looked around at Leopardpaw. "Are you okay?" Lillypaw asked Leopardpaw.

Silvercloud padded towards the apprentice den, hearing loud moaning and screeching. She was almost sure he had woken up half the camp. As she reached the shelter she poked her silvery head in, seeing Leopardpaw with his eyes wide; brimming with shock. Silvercloud's heart was pricked. She could guess what he had been dreaming about. "Leopardpaw? Are you alright?" She murmured softly, as to not wake any other cat.

"Just a nightmare." Leopardpaw mewed quietly, settling back into his nest, though his eyes were still open. He couldn't sleep, unless he wanted the constant fear of what his future held. Could he be Tigerstar? Why would he be Tigerstar? And what made Silvercloud think he was a little a like that cat?

[Riber~]

Silvercloud nodded silently before dipping her head and padding slowly into the moon-bathed clearing. Silverpelt shone above; StarClan looking down on her. I never should have told him ... Silvercloud thought silenty. Her mind flashed back to the night when her dream involved a leopard; slashing at a mysterious cat, then turning to swipe at her with razor-sharp claws. Slaughtering with an un-earthly glee; fire blazing in it's eyes. It couldn't have been a clearer sign.

Lillypaw slowly moved towards Leopardpaw, then she pressed her flank agest his flank. "Don't worry" Lillypaw meowed gently, her gentle brown eyes looking into his. "You might be scared, but just remember, it is only a dream" Lillypaw meowed, then she gave Leopardpaw's ear a swift like then curled up beside him and fell asleep.

Laying his head beside Lillypaw's he kept his eyes wide open through the night. It was nice to have a friend, that could comfort him when he couldn't sleep. Why was he being tortured with these images in his mind had he done something wrong? He couldn't even figure out why StarClan would do this to any cat no matter who they were. Even mangy ShadowClan cats.

Lillypaw looked up into the sky the next morning. "I think we should get up now" she meowed to Leopardpaw, nuging him gently. Then she got up and padded Out-Side.

Leopardpaw yawned loudly, pulling himself up and stretching himself, though he hadn't slept a wink, he was still feeling exhausted. Plus, he knew he had even more training to complete that very day, could this get any worse.
