Thrushflame looked up at Crowpaw, his ears flat against his head. He regained his conscious and hunger was the least of his problems. He got to his paws and walked quietly next to the apprentice, "I'm sorry, I guess the hunger is getting the best of all of us. I'll help you to the Medicine Den, you should really see Saphirewing." he mewed kindly, the nicest he's been since the drought and floods started. He remembered when he used to be one of the nicest cats around, the lack of prey changed all of it. He was about to say sorry to Hollyfrost but couldn't be sure if he wouldn't do it because he couldn't man up to it or because he felt he shouldn't do it right out in front of every other cat. He still hated Houndclaw though.

Crowpaw narrowed her eyes, still sensing the negativity. It sounded as if this fight would never end. Both of her clanmates would be in danger in the future. Though her words had been bold for an apprentice that had only been training for a moon, she still couldn't get her clanmates to completely agree with each other. Crowpaw wanted to change things. She was done with being so care-free. If she was going to help her Clan, she would train like no other apprentice.
"Now, uhm...." Crowpaw mewed.
"Thrushflame... I think we should go hunt. I was going to ask for permission, after all. But first.. this shrew."
No, she would never forget to do anything. She would work hard. Train hard. The bleeding had started to clot, and was starting to crust over. It was the least of her worries, though. She grabbed the shrew in her jaws. Maybe if she could separate Thrushflame and Hollyfrost, there wouldn't be a problem. For now, at least.
"Oh! My ear... Well... if I'm going to help FireClan, I guess I can't do it if this wound gets infected, right?" She started to head for Sapphirewing. "Maybe she'll take this shrew, too!"

The tom nodded, still feeling the shame from the wound he caused on Crowpaw. "Alright." he breathed, not daring to peer over his shoulder at Hollyfrost. He padded behind the apprentice, deciding it would be best if she guided the two of them while he still gathered the rest of his scattered mind as they walked.

Hollyfrost glared after her former mentor, avoiding Crowpaw's gaze as she turned around to face Houndclaw. "Er, sorry." she mewed, sounding embarrassed.
