"I suppose it is better than bein' in the nursery." Minkfur agreed. She looked back at the queen. There was a battle going on in her body as the kits were becoming ready to be born. Then she turned back to Otterkit.
"But yeh better not disturb the patients and herbs! If yeh know what's good for yeh, yeh'd stay outta 'em." Minkfur warned sharply. She knew that Otterkit wasn't going to listen as well as she hoped anyway.

"No...", Berrykit mewed. "Will Halostep be alright?", she answered to Minkfur. Then she heard the crazy medicine cat asking Otterkit for help. "I want to help, too!", she mewed. "I can be a grat help, I promise!"

Otterkit blinked at Berrykit. "You can help by being our messenge; if somebody gets hurt or sick, you'll be the first to tell us!"

"Yeh, she's going to be just fine. Have you ever wondered where yeh came from?" Minkfur asked Berrykit.

OOC: Eh, I have an excuse to post with Sparrow! X3

Sparrowkit heard something coming from the nursery and wondered what was going on. Nothing seemed to have happened after the kits'... interesting escapade to the fox den. He padded closer, his amber eyes widening when he heard his adoptive mother's yowl and darted into the already-crowded den. Berrykit and Otterkit were there, along with the funny medicine cat... Mink-something. Mink...

"Minkfur! What's wrong with Halostep?" As if he didn't already know. His mother was going to have kits! Her swollen belly wasn't from over-eating, that was for sure. "She's going to be okay, right?" He mewed, shooting a glance at the queen before looking back at the medicine cat.

"Mommeh brought me to Windclan, but I can't remember how and when. I was too small.", Berrykit replied. "I will do as you say!"
With that she positioned herself at the entrance of the nursery, tried to be as big as possible to get a perfect overview. "Nobody's sick yet!", she mewed.

Morningflower watched as the scene unfolded. "Berrykit, I didn't bring you here! I brought myself here!" She laughed. "No, you were, born here.. Like the kits Halostep is having."

Halostep shuddered as a spasm ran through her, watching as a whole army of kits stared at her, asking frantic and curious questions. Within a...while, a lovely kitten was born. She smiled, the small white and brown she-cat awaiting to be licked into warmth. The next was a very small tom. He was all black in color, and Halostep gave another gasp as the next kit was born. Another tom, a light, bracken-colored tabby who looked strong and able. Finally, when she began to think it was over, a tiny bundle slipped to the ground, very small and curled up. The queen looked at the orange and black tom in horror. He looked...dead. With a rise of his tiny chest she knew the opposite and managed to lie back in rest, eyes closed and proud of her... FOUR?! kittens. Four new bodies.

Four new troublemakers.

Six more moons.
