Let's start tending to Aquapaw! open

[LEN KAGAMINE]

The blind she-cat slowly shuffled into her den, a small bundle in her mouth. Lostpaw twitched her tail and pointed towards one of the nests on the ground that weren't destroyed for the Shadowclan warrior to play the injured apprentice. She padded over to a pile of herbs and dropped the bundle. Then, she picked out some comfery, a large wad of cobwebs, and some other herbs. She turned back towards the cats coming in and waited.

Griffinshade ducked his head low so he could get into the den. He crouched low to the den, his belly touching the den floor. "Help me get her off." he looked over his shoulder, "Aquapaw." he mewed strongly, shrugging his left shoulder once to see if he could bring her back to conciousness.

Lostpaw tilted her head and lightly dropped the herbs and cobwebs on the ground. She made her way over to the Warrior and Apprentice, trying to grab the scruff of Aquapaw's neck and tried to pulled her off of the Shadowclan cat's back.

Aquapaw winced into existence and was now sitting in a den with a pungeant scent of herbs. Medicine cat den. The pain had ebbed into a constant hum and her mind began clearing, despite how exhausted she was. Sliding off of Griffinshade's back, she slipped to the floor, landing awkwardly on three legs. "How bad is it Lostpaw?" She asked dully.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Lostpaw hesitated for a moment before answering Aquapaw. "In a word, bad. This is just a prediction, but you might never be able to become a warrior." The blind cat flicked her tail at the nest below, signalling for the apprentice to lay down. Lostpaw waited a moment, letting the injured apprentice settle into the nest, before taking a claw and cutting off the bloody mess of cobwebs. Blah blah. I am getting lazy. She put more herbs on it, puts some more cobwebs on, and was done. "There." She mewed. "You should get some rest."

[Goldenstorm]

Griffinshade looked at Lostpaw, "Am I done?" he asked, now eager to leave the enemy Clan's camp. He could fight well, but he couldn't take on a whole Clan.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Lostpaw looked over to the Shadowclan warrior. "Yes, you can."

Griffinshade nodded, about to leave. "Will there be any troubles with me leaving now?" he asked, almost a growl. He hated when cats tried to pin accusations on him when he was doing nothing wrong.

Lostpaw shook her head, her ears flapping against the sides of her head. "No. They should know that you brought back Aquapaw." The Medicine Cat blinked her eyes. It'd by nice if she knew how the Shadowclan warrior looked, but she just had to go by scent to know who he was. The blind cat sighed and swiped her right paw over her her, as if itching it.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffinshade dipped his head, grunting as he did so. "Very well, so long." he padded heavily out of the den, tensing up his muscles as he scent ThunderClan all over.

[Riber~]

ooc- Huge wait, I'm sorry. I forgot about this... ><

Warm green orbs blinked open in the gloomy den once again, focusing on Griffinshade, her saviour if you will. He was leaving, looking wary of the ThunderClan cats on either side. Her leg felt stiff and cold with absence of circulation. As the ShadowClan cat padded from the den, his bulk temporarily folding out the sunlight shafting in a stream on her tabby face, Aquapaw whispered. "Thank-you." But by now he was gone, and he couldn't have possibly heard her departing words...

The she-cat blinked her blind eyes and flicked her ears at Aquapaw's words to the Shadowclan Warrior. She sighed, shifting her possition. "So, Aquapaw... Seems as if you are awake, somewhat. On terms of your injury, you'll miss a lot of your warrior apprenticeship. From what I can tell, the leg will never heal properly. You'll never make it as a Warrior, so, once healed, you'll have two options. So far, I can only see one option happening at the time. That option is that you'll have to move to the Elders' Den..." Lostpaw tilted her head slightly, waiting a few moments to see if the apprentice would speak. "The other option, if you have a good memory, is to become the new Medicine Cat Apprentice. However, that choise is yours if you wish to never have a mate, never have kits, and tend to the whole clan."

ooc: -flails- I couldn't think of anything to say. D:

Aquapaw stared in astonishment at the medicine cat who should no longer be an apprentice. Her words were so direct and blunt it felt as if she was physically hit in the stomach. Become a medicine cat? Never have kits? It was a thought too terrible to think. For her entire life, all she really, truly wanted was to be a mother and watch her children grow up. It wasn't warrior training that sparked her soul. But what was her other option, stay in the elders' den for the rest of her life? And all this was because she was standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her thoughts turned bitter and she murmured to Lostpaw. "It's not fair Lostpaw, it really isn't." Aquapaw sighed, knowing the she-cat would know exactly her drift. Being blind, she couldn't have had much of a choice either. "And don't tell me life isn't fair. Really, don't."

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Lostpaw chuckled at the injured apprentice. "Everyone already knows that life isn't fair, so I wasn't going to bring it up." The she-cat stared up at the somewhat-damaged roofing of the den. All she could see was darkness. "Don't worry. You must have been injured for a reason. Starclan has their way of directing others to the correct path." The Medicine Cat sighed, twitching her tail. The she-cat's mentor probably died for a reason... That, or it was Starclan's way of saying that she was a horrible mentor and unfit to be Medicine Cat. This made the blind she-cat chuckle inwardly. "Well, it isn't my choise of which one you'll choose. I'll let you think. You have untill your leg is 'healed' to ponder over your choises."
