Can't think! [CLOSED, Naru and me only]

Fernbreeze rushed into the clearing. She had been looking everywhere. Great Starclan! She thought. He hasn't survived! "Smoketail!" Fernbreeze called desperately. She looked around, her eyes wild with distraught.

[Naruto]

A low groan echoed from one side of the broken clearing. During the quake, Smoketail had been the only warrior asleep in the warrior's den. It had collapsed right on top of him. The large gray tom-cat heaved himself up, blood spattering his coat, and threw a large piece of the den off his back. Then he winced, and, hearing a she-cat's voice calling out to him, he turned to see Fernbreeze racing towards him. "Hey..." he called.

[Cheesles]

"Smoketail!" Fernbreezes shreak rung out over the clearing. She leapt towards him. She nosed her way through the brambles and leaves that were the warriors den. She nosed a large branch off her mates flank. Blood splattered his flank. "Smoketail!" She mewed again. "Will you be ok!?"

[Naruto]

"I'll be fine." he growled feebly, his dark blue gaze shining with pain. "How is the rest of the Clan? And Wolfstar?"

[Cheesles]

Fernbreeze carefully grasped her mates scruff and tried to drag him out from under the collapsed den. "Never mind them at the moment, you need to see the medicine cat as soon as possible!" She mewed. He can't die! She thought feebly. If he dies, then we are left with out a deputy, and with Wolfstar's disappearance...

[Naruto]

Smoketail allowed himself to be dragged out of the wreckage, but pushed himself to his paws as soon as he got his footing. "I'm fine," he mewed, his voice stronger now.

[Cheesles]

Fernbreeze rushed to his side in case he fell. She could feel the weakness of his limbs. "Lean on me," She mewed, "We must get you looked at by the medicine cat!"

[Naruto]

He growled weakly but gladly leaned on the she-cat. "I don't need that medicine. I'm perfectly fine..."

[Cheesles]

"Just in case!" Fernbreeze mewed, she could feel the blood seeping into her pelt.

[Naruto]

"In case what?" he hissed. "The Clan may be dying! I don't need the herbs that will heal them!"

[Cheesles]

Fernbreeze stepped back, she looked at Smoketail. Her eyes showed that she was utterly crushed.

[Naruto]

The tom smiled to ease the sting of his words. "I'm sorry... I'm just worried."

[Cheesles]

Fernbreeze smiled a weak smile. "I'm worried about you," She whispered quietly. She looked at her paws and straightened up from her crouched position.
