Excited for upcoming warriorness

Brightpaw laid on her back, gazing at the top of the cave. She tilted her head, wondering if any bats lived up there. Straining her ears to see if she could hear sleepy squeaks or screeches, she realised that if there were any bats up there, they's make dirt some time. Her eyes widened and she quickly jumped to her feet, grimacing at the thought. Taking shelter under a little overhang near the apprentices' cave, she glanced, still curious, up at the ceiling. It was then, just out of the blue, she remembered that her training was coming to an end.
She'd be a warrior soon.

[Bumblebee~*]

Cherrypaw sat near the apprentices' cave, cleaning her paws. She didn't have anything to do today. Maybe I'll go hunting later or something. She mused, closing her eyes as she cleaned herself. She wished something would happen, something exciting. She hardly left the cave these days, and when she did, she would just get her pelt soaked through by the stupid rain. Shuddering, she licked her fur more vigorously as if she were really being pelted by muddy rainwater.

Brightpaw glanced at Cherrypaw. "Do you think there are bats in this cave?" she ventured, sidling over to her while still watching the ceiling.

Cherrypaw opened one eye, her green eye. "Bats?" She asked, opening her blue eye and lifting her head to look up at the ceiling. Were there any bats up there? "Maybe. I wish there were some way to check without having to get hit by their dirt first." She laughed, still glancing up at the roof of the cave.

"My thoughts exactly..." Brightpaw eventually dragged her gaxe from the ceiling. "So," she meowed. "What's new?" she sat next to Cherrypaw.

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight sat near the fresh-kill pile, dropping off a skinny wood pigeon she found in the river, it had drowned. She sighed, weary of all the water falling upon her. Her eyes were beginning to grow dull, she was thin and her ribs could be counted. She felt bony, as if she were nothing but bones. She couldn't even feel her fur anymore.

"Hey guys," Fernpaw mewed, sitting next to the apprentices. "Ugghh I hate this rain. I wish it would stop already," she said as she started to groom herself.

"Hmm?" Cherrypaw mewed distractedly, tearing her gaze from the ceiling. "Oh, nothing really." She said truthfully. "What about you?" She asked. When she breathed in her den-mate's scent, she could tell it was tinged with excitement and anticipation.

Phantompaw was a still figure at the very edge of the central cave, balancing on the line of darkness and light. His amber eyes were squinted but without much character. No other cat attempted to come and talk to him. His paws were flopped in front of him lazily and he lowered his tabby head to them, resting it against their soft blanket. He had been hunting just a bit before and had come back soggy and fruitless. It really hadn't put him in a good mood and this was shown as he broke his statue behaviour and lashed his tail once, making a sharp snap sound on the ground. A few cats were gathering at the fresh kill pile and Phantompaw was, of course, eavesdropping. His coat gleamed as light managed to bounce off his shoulders and he listened, ears twitching in that directions. Bats? Really? He nearly snorted out loud at Brightpaw's stupid question. The other apprentices held nothing for him. They were bland and... joyful. They rarely took risks. You could see right through them and could tell they were a 2D shape. Phantompaw knew he could size them up in a nut-shell if he wanted to. Were they all like that? They sure seemed to be. He sighed inwardly and kept his head in his paws, fixing his toxicating gaze on Cherrypaw. Eager and bright were words that came to his mind.

The fur on the back of the lithe tortoiseshell's neck began to rise, for no apparent reason. "What the-" She started to mutter, but then her gaze fell on a grey, sort of brindle-furred apprentice who was, in turn, staring at her with intense amber eyes. Who is that? She wondered, holding her heterochromic gaze with his. They were frightening, but captivating at the same time.

Hollypaw sat just outside the apprentice's den, not paying attention to the other's conversation. She'd only caught a snippet, and that had nearly made her laugh. Bats? Seriously? Great StarClan....

[Riber~]

Phantompaw watched as Cherrypaw turned to stare at him, one eye emerald and one a sky blue. Unlike most other cats who had been caught looking at another he held her gaze. If anything her expression irritated him. It was intrigued but frightened. He brought his angular head up and his eyes turned from general to stormy and fiery. They narrowed and Phantompaw irritably flicked his ears again, stomach strangely full despite his fast after his unsuccessful hunting trip. It was a warning.

Pastpaw sat next to Hollypaw as he listened to the other cats, though unintentionally. Wow, these guys knew how to complaaaaain. Everyone always had something to say about the rain. He loved the rain! He absoluely loved it! And on the das he didn't, they had a nice cave for him to hide in. At least they were going to bed dry. The other clans had to stay out and get soaked.

The old apprentice groomed his backfur down.

"What are with these she-cats?" he muttered to himself silently as he did so.

Hollypaw flicked her tail at Pastpaw. "You know what this is about?" she asked, her voice slightly bitter. It could be a warrior ceremony, or an apprentice ceremony. She'd know if someone would tell her. She grumbled bad temperedly and flicked her ear.

Lacepaw padded up beside Hollypaw, her closest friend in FireClan. She heard her chuckle and soon wondered why. She then looked over at Cherrypaw and Brightpaw looking at the roof of the cave. "What's so funny?" she whispered to Hollypaw, but her bright sapphire eyes were staring straight at the other apprentice's. There sure is a lot of apprentice's and kits this season..

"They think there are bats in the cave," Hollypaw muttered back, a smile spreading over her features. Now only if Lilacpaw were here. Then it'd be a real party.

"Rain and bats are the subject of conversation," he replied as he brought his head up to look at her. Rain and bats. Didn't they talk about anything more interesting? Like... apprentice training. That wasmore interesting than what tey were talking about now. "So what's up with you guys?" He asked Hollypaw, and the new Lacepaw.

Cherrypaw blinked as the tom's neutral gaze turned to a blazing amber. She felt herself flush deeply under her fur, being caught staring. Haha, mouse-brain, you've done it again. She groaned to herself. But, refusing to back down, she tried to maintain her steady gaze. Her different-coloured eyes usually unsettled others. He probably thought he was the only one with strange eyes. Huh.

[Naruto]

"Nothing. Thrushflame's the same ol' stick in the mud and he hasn't taught me anything." Hollypaw shrugged. "What about you?"

"Well, I've done nothing but sit around all day. So, you guys want to hunt with me?" Lacepaw asked, "I want to at least catch something today." she sighed, the amount of food supply was extremely low and you could see every cat in site ribs and hips. No food and soaking wet.
