Rain.....Staying Out Of It....

Blazepaw spat irritatantly as he sat down near the back of the cave. "Stupid cold....stupid rain.." He mumbled. He looked back on his day in disgust, all he did was go out hunting, and all he brought back was a half-starved mouse. He stared out the mouth of the cave, getting lost in the dreary rain. That's what his whole life seemed like since the accident; dreary and pointless. He heard soft pawsteps coming towards him, and turned around to see his sister Fernpaw sitting down next to him. There was a depressed darkness in her eyes; and Blazepaw knew she must be thinking about their parents again. He silently pressed his body against hers, trying to comfort her. "Well....I should probably go," Fernpaw sighed, getting up and heading to the apprentice's cave.
