Rustkit jumped out of the pile of kits."Who did this!? I bet it was shadowclan! Let me at em'! I'll rip them to shreds! Wait, Frostkit!" he jumped toward Frostkit and shoved her out of the way."ye- aw s---"he said as he slid toward the hole. He digged his claws into the ground but still sled. He fell in with both paws clutching the edge."HHEEEELLLLP!!!!!"

Sandfur saw Rustkit falling in the hole that appeared. Fast as lightning she was there, stretching out and reched his scruff just in time. She pulled him out and sat him down again at the pile of kits. "All kits stay here! The quake is nearly over, so don't move until it's totally gone!", she yowled at Rustkit in particular but also at all other kits.

"Locustkit! What are you doing?! Sandfur told you to stay put!" Frostkit bowed her head in frustration. Ugh, why can't they just listen?

Eaglekit padded cautiously towards the hole, "Frostkit? Are you down here?"

"Yes, but I'm supposed to stay put," came the tiny-voiced reply.

"That's stupid!" mewed Eaglekit, "You should get out of there now."

"No, I'm supposed to STAY HERE!"

She looked like she was getting angry. Maybe I should just leave her be.

Whitekit hung close to the tree, her body stuck to the bark of the elm as she fluffed up her fur in fear. She looked around, nothing was falling, and after a moment, she could feel her threat wasn't really a threat and her fear started to melt off her. She stuck her tail up and stood happily on the branch where she hung for dear life and smiled. She managed to claw her way down the 5 feet of tree she had climbed up and she was venturing her way toward the growing crack in the ground. "I wonder what this is." she spoke aloud in her own foreign language. She laid just in front of it, looking down at he never-ending hole.

Sunpaw slithered over to Whitekit. "Hiya, Whitekit!" he called, also looking down at the hole. He then slithered onto his back, having a great time in all the shaking.

Whitekit sat down looking down the new crack in camp as she noticed the ground was eerily still. She sighed, looking around to see if Luckykit or Barkfur was around.

Barkfur was at the entrance of camp, looking about. A mourning face was strewn upon her as she looked and saw her home divided in two.

Yep. Noone cares that i just saved a life...Swifttalon tried to make a little attempt to save the den from collapsing on Badgerclaw. Rustlit ran to help.

Luckykit sighed reliefed as the earth stood still again. "Mommy can I look after the others?", she asked her mother. Sandfur nodded and Luckykit darted away. She saw Whitekit on a tree. "Whitekit! You can come down now! Let's see together what else happened to the camp. Except this hole!", she mewed to her friend.

Sandfur looked around. The nursery was still intact. "Okay little ones", she mewed to the pile of kits. "Let's all return to the nursery for now. Let the warriors fix the camp and then you may play outside, okay? You can play in the nursery for now" With this she hushed the kits with her paws to the nursery and walked there herself.
As she entered she remeberd the cats on the gathering, and Silverstar. Was she alright? What happened to the rest of the clan?
She looked around and found Blazesong. "Blazesong, could you please take a look on the kits? I need to speak to Frostheart." Blazesong nodded and blocked the entrance to the nursery so that no kit could come out.
Sandfur walked the camp. It looked terrible. Destruction everywhere. She found Frostheart somewhere. "Frostheart, I was at the Gathering. Silverstar was hurt, I tried to save her but she ordered me to abandon her and save myself. I don't know what happened to her, and to the other cats present at the Gathering. Everyone fled in every direction. What should we do?"

Frostkit heaved herself out of the hole and started towards the nursery. She had come out mostly unscathed, except for a few cuts on her shoulder. Pretty much the whole camp is destroyed... She thought sadly. The only thing left standing was the nursery. She knew that everyone couldn't sleep in there. "Eaglekit! You mousebrain! What are you doing?!" Her brother was jumping down into the hole. "Sandfur told us to go back to the nursery!" He ignored her, although she was sure he had heard her.

"Sandfur said this, Sandfur said that, I don't care what she said I'm going exploring," he murmured. He plopped down into the hole. "Wow!" He had never seen anything like this before. Eaglekit scurried around, taking in every sight and sound. On the other side of the hole, near the medicine cat's den there was a grey, silver thing. "That must have been underground here," he said as he rushed over to examine it. It smelled of twolegs, and there was some sort of sticky, sickly sweet smelling liquid oozing from it. Eaglekit cautiously stuck a paw in it. He smiled. This is fun! He was soon running through it, trying to get all paws as sticky as he could. After a few minutes of this he moseyed towards the nursery.

Squirrelkit blinked her moss-colored eyes. "Momma, what just happened?" she asked, not looking the least bit scared. In fact she looked curious. "I don't know." she heard her mother respond.

Raindapple looked around. She heard Sandfur giving the order to head all the kits back into the nursery. Which was a good idea. Considering it was the only den left standing.

Whitekit was sitting next to the crack, leaning forward so that she almost fell in when she heard her name. She swiveled her head around and lost her balance, slipping over the edge of the deep ravine. Her small claws ripped into the edge, "Help!" she cried in her jibberish, hoping Luckykit would hear her. She almost had herself up, but she was having trouble getting her hindpaw in a paw hold just out of reach.

Luckykit heard her best friend crying, darted to where the sound come from. Her head popped up in front of Whitekits face. "What are you doing there?", she asked while stretching out her paw.

Whitekit reached, grabbing her friend's paw as gentle as she could and pulled so that she could get her hindpaw into the paw hole she needed. She heaved herself over the side. She stood in front of Luckykit, happy to be on solid ground again. "Exploring." she smiled.

Luckykit giggled. "I see.", she mewed. Then she pounced and landed on Whitekit, as if the ground had never shaked. They rolled through the camp until they were blocked by a branch. "That's odd! The camp's full of rocks and branches!", she complained. "Where do you want go now?", she mewed.

Joykit relaxed as the shaking stopped, but her relief only lasted a moment. She knew she wouldn't be able to relax until she knew that her sister was safe. Padding around silently, like a silver shadow, she searched for her littermate. Melodykit... where are you? She mewed, lost and frightened even among her Clanmates.
