Hollypaw purred, flicking Pastpaw over the ear. "Fine, then." Truth be told, she actually knew more about RiverClan territory than she let on. Not like she wanted to know. Her father was a former RiverClan warrior, exiled because of his love for her mother, a FireClan she-cat. Traitors, she thought darkly, padding on ahead.

"Oh, I can't wait to see the places you'll take us," he mewed with light tone as he followed walked next to her step for step. "Hey, if a RiverClan cat found us and we told them we were just here to send a messege, you think they'd believe us?"

[Naruto]

"Maybe." Hollypaw said, shrugging. She cast a wary glance around her before stepping forwards confidently. "But I don't think we'll see anyone. They can't scent as well as we can, after all!"

Stupid ThunderClan warrior. Warriors. Did they follow Leafpaw or something?! Great StarClan! The huge black cat padded through the marshy area of territory that bordered FireClan, his head low. He was almost afraid of returning to camp; he knew, just knew that he'd get in trouble. Probably get exiled. And then Leafpaw was probably in her camp right now having to face down accusations from her own clanmates. It frustrated him to no end. So he barely noticed when he ran into a tiny black she-cat who was walking through the territory like she owned it. "Who're you?" he growled gruffly.

Hollypaw's heart skipped a beat as the huge warrior looked down at her, golden eyes molten. "Er," she said in a squeak.

Pastpaw looked half-watched as the RiverClan cat ran into Hollypaw he turned his head towards them, his face looking a little puzzled, though still in a goofy way. He looked at the large tom. He was about half his height, maybe a little more, who could tell, but he didn't seem that big in his mind. He just ate fish, and everyone knew fish were the equivallent of steroids.

"We're messengers?" Now it was the test. Would he believe them, or not? Only his next answer will tell.

Batpaw blinked, his eyes emotionless. "Fine then. Should I escort you two to camp? You seem like you know the territory well enough." There was a hint of an angry sneer in his voice.

"N-No! We'll get there just fine, I'm sure!" Hollypaw mewed, looking up at the apprentice defiantly.

It was almost then that Pastpaw burst out laughing. He actually believed him! But he couldn't let him know they were just trespassing willy nilly. The cat seemed to be pretty peeved about something already anyways. "Um.. yeah. We'll be fine. The camp isn't to far from here." He thought about what he said. Goodness, he sounded like heknew exactly where it was. He tilted his head, to try to make it look as if he was just giving an estimated guess.

[Naruto]

Batpaw snorted. "Yeah right! The camp is about one hundred or so fox-lengths that way." He pointed with his tail the direction he meant.

"Well sorry, I don't have a good sence of distance." Geez he was grumpy. What died in his fur and sprouted legs? "Well, I guess we'll be going now." Yeah, they should probably get away from this cat who, at any moment, could see through their lies. He brushed Hollypaw with his tail and started to walk towards the camp. Would he let them leave? Hopefully his anger would cloud his judgement.

Hollypaw padded along with Pastpaw, glancing over at Batpaw warily. "You'd think he'd be a little bit more... Hostile." she muttered.

Batpaw shrugged and continued walking away from the FireClan apprentices, not wanting anything to do with them.

"That's because the fish they eat drugs them and makes 'em all loopy," he whispered, but his whisper was actually louder than he actually though it was. "But it worked right?" He continued. He kept going into their direction, planning to go another way when they were out of sight and out of scent of the RiverClan cat.

Batpaw glanced behind him. "I can hear you know," he hissed, lashing his tail. But otherwise he ignored them, just padding along the border.

Hollypaw snickered. "Really? I thought they were born that way."
