Pastpaw crawled under a log and looked up at the little amount of trees. Some had strange red lines or crosses on it, others had strange wooden squares stuck on the trunk by a twoleg thing. One these there were strange red markings as well. It was a mystery why it was all there. Ahead the area spanned away, the trees thinning out again to a small trentch of bare land and towards the rocky, moutain-like areas of the territory.

Pastpaw hopped onto the log and walked up the incline towards one of the strange square wood peices. He looked up at it, trying to decipher the code, but it was futile. It was too high up for him to see it at the angle too. He jumped up the tree and saw the front of the odd thing. As he started to fall he unsheathed his claws and tried to hook them onto the bark, but they cut through and he slipped off before fallign with a thud back on the ground. Tree climbing. Leave it to ThunderClan.

He turned his head towards Hollypaw's direction. "I love this part of the territory, don't you?"

Hollypaw raced after Pastpaw, reaching his side in a few bounds. She purred when he tried to climb the tree, noting how easily it was to climb. Could she be part ThunderClan too? She narrowed her eyes at the thought. "Yep. It's so peaceful." she mewed in response to his question, smiling.

Pastpaw rolled to his feet and took a big gulp of air, tasting it for any cat that he was begging to pass. Nothing. Awesomeness. He looked back at Hollypaw and grinned and Pastpaw grin.

He agreed with her. It was peaceful over here, and it held this exciting feeling in it too. It was a thick volt that seemed to zap through the air. It was so pleasureable.

"So, what do you want to do now?"

Hollypaw shrugged. "I dunno. Whatever." She looked up at the trees, wondering if she could climb one just to show off to her denmate. Nah. Her tail twitched. At least they were out of camp. It was getting boring there.

"You don't seem to know much today, do you?" Pastpaw walked deeper into the twoleg marked area. Seeing more of those red marks, but also fewer as he went deeper. "How about we get into some mischeif?" He asked Hollypaw without looking behind him. He loved doing something he shouldn't, even though it didn't help him in the least.

[Naruto]

She smirked. "Sure." She padded after him into the ruined two-leg place, her fur fluffing out to keep her warm. The pouring rain was just starting to seep through her fur, making her cold. Geez... Hollypaw thought, reaching Pastpaw's side.

"I would ask you if you would want to do anything particular, but..." She probably didn't know that either. He smiled a little and looked around at all the grass, eyeing their detail. He looked at his feet and saw his white paws had browned with the mud. Great. That would be a pain to clean. "I say we go towards RiverClan. I need to clean my paws. And what will a little more water cause?"

[Naruto]

Hollypaw's fur bristled, but she forced it to lie flat. "Er, sure," she said, smiling. Great StarClan... Why RiverClan? Why does he want to head towards those water-logged fur-balls? she thought crossly, twitching her ear.

With a good balance in his step, Pastpaw made his way through the FireClan territory, going through the mountains and the little shrubs and weaving through the rarity of mountian trees. Soon enough he came to the little corner where RiverClan had their space. Unfortunately, the river was a little ways into their territory. At this moment Pastpaw realized that they had a beach in their territory, he could have cleaned up there, but oh... it was too late now. They were already here.

He looked as far as he could through the rain and saw not a single warrior patrolling the area or giving them nasty looks across as if they could intimidate them away from the border. With confident and unthinking paws he took a step over the border and padded towards the river a few paw-steps away.

[Naruto]

What is he doing? she thought, stepping cautiously over the border and trotting after him. "So what do we do now?"

Pastpaw dipped his paws intot he watter, letting the whites come back over them as the current burshed trhough his fur. It felt weird, and it tickled a bit.

"What do we do now? Well anything! Well, except hunting, we can't do that." He chuckled a bit. If you hunt, then you get in a badger's worth of trouble. "I personally like to explore."

[Naruto]

"Well duh," she said with a small smile, dipping her paw in the water and splashing at Pastpaw. "I don't know where anything is in this territory. So I'll let you decide where we go."

"Aren't I wet enough?" he joked before pulling his paws back out. He smirked before starting off. "I know every territory"-except for the camps-"it's best to go during the Gatherings because most cats are still in camp. Don't want to miss the news right?" He followed the river as it curved deeper into the territory. It was always best to follow landmarks.

[Naruto]

"No." she said playfully, bounding after him. "Cool. I want to know all the territories one day." Hollypaw mewed, blinking.

Pastpaw stopped. "All of them?" He asked her almost in shock. "It's hard enough just to get through one!" He grin came across his face. "I like your ideas, though. You gotta be stealthy, though. You got to know how to avoid other cats. What has Thrushflame even, taught you? Since he's so neglectful." Man, if only his mentor as neglectful. He'd seriously love that.

[Naruto]

Hollypaw snorted. "He taught me how to detect scents. And that's it." She lashed her tail. "I taught myself how to climb trees before he even came and suggested training!"

"Scenting?" Wow, he is neglectful. "Well that's helpful." Suddenly he spun around at her, eyes wide. "You know how to clib trees!?" He had no idea had to climb trees! His mentor didn't even. "How come you let me fall of that tree then?" He questioned her semi-seriously. She saw him and didn't give any advise. "I think you owe me a lesson." With that he turned in a mock dignified way and kept on down the river, scanning over as he started to get to the spot where they'd cross it all!

[Naruto]

"Yeah, because I thought you'd think I'd be showing off." she replied matter-of-factly, smiling. "I'll give you lessons."

"Well... yeah, you probably would have." He stopped and looked across the river. "Okay, if we keep following the river we'll end up in WindClan. So, if you want to go deeper into RiverClan we're going to have to jump over this." Basically what he was asking her was, does she want to go to WindClan, or jump a river?

[Naruto]

"Bleh. WindClan. I'll jump this." She said, smirking. She bunched her legs, bounding across the swollen river.

Oh, she was so adventurous. Pastpaw bounded over as well, landing with a decent amount of ground between him and the river. "No turning back now!" With light paws he made his way into the territory, and though seeming too excited to care or moving too quickly, his senses were about them, picking up any sign of a cat there might be. He was a good apprentivce, and a good warrior. He was just a slacker that goofed off a lot.

Hollypaw slinked after Pastpaw, her pelt blending into the inky darkness that covered the forest floor. The only thing showing were her eyes, emerald green. She said nothing, knowing that a single word could get them both killed if a RiverClan cat heard, so she just padded alongside the older apprentice, ears pricked.

Pastpaw suddenly skidded into a row of bushes, muddying up his paws again and hid within them. He peered out on the long expands of shrublessness and low cover that went over RiverClan. It could be WindClan if the grass was tall enough. He looked left and right, and smelled the air again. Yes, he smelled something, but wa sit a cat? It was hard to tell in this foresaken rain.

Hollypaw crouched down beside Pastpaw, her fur bristling. "What is it?" she hissed, eyes wide.

"I don't know..." He replied. He slowly started to stick his head out of the bush to get a better look. What was over here? A sudden rustling occured, speeding up Pastpaw's heartrate, but then a laugh came over him uncontrolably as a simple watervole darted out and ran off into another direction. He pulled back and looked at Hollypaw. "Um.. just prey." Man he was an idiot. "Why don't you lead?"
