Silverstar thumped down on the dirt of her den, frustrated. Was this cat honestly dense? Her voice was a quiet and cool mew, loud enough for Leafpaw and Leafpaw alone to hear. "Fine? Really? Are you reallly fine? You do know that I can punish you and forbid you from ever seeing Batpaw again? Do you know how painful that is?" She sighed and glowered.

"Yes." Leafpaw mewed, yes she did. It sucked like it sucked when a badger and a mouse teamed up and ripped out your gulled and your leg. Sucks. Oh, and it hurt too, it hurt way more, but this probably hurt more that that. Actually, it did, and she knew that for a fact, and no matter how much denial she packed over herself, this much was certainly true.

Silverstar felt the urge to headdesk against the side of her den but resisted. She was getting very frustrated with this cat. She was almost ready to be a warrior and she acted like a scared little kit! With her nature she couldn't help feeling a twinge of sympathy still. She could imagine her feelings were a trainwreck at all times. "Yes? And do you understand that to make Sweetfur happy I'm going to have to pretend to be very angry with you and punish you?" She squinted at her.

Leafpaw lifted her ears. Pretend. She didn't really expect that, even with the stuff she said earlier that she couldn't really remember due to attention span and stuff like that. But she still got it. "But isn't he just going to spread it around camp?"

Silverstar shrugged, heaving up her small shoulders. "I will tell Sweetfur to let it be. However Leafpaw, you must be more careful. If he sees you two again I won't be pretending." Her voice was dead serious but low enough just in case Sweetfur was eavesdropping outside, which now that she thought about it, didn't seem to unrealisitc.

Leafpaw nodded her head. It was her second time being caught. The third wouldn't be taken lightly. "I'll try my best." She had to tell Batpaw about this new development, but not today, or tomorrow. She had to wait a while.Hopefully he wouldn't be angry again, as he was last time.
