Then the last kit fell into the nest. It was mewling the loudest, much louder then the other two. Morningflower carefully lifted and placed, the largest and loudest kit beside her belly and licked it dry. She rested her head on the side of the nest and watched the kits suckle. The largest kit, the golden kit that had been delivered last began mewling loudly again. "Hush," Morningflower mewed and it instantly stopped. She looked up at her mate, her eyes sparkling, "Their perfect..."

"Just like you.", he replied. "You must be tired. Can I get you something?", he mewed, licking her ear. "I'll get you some fresh-kill. Meanwhile you can think about some names for these cute little furballs.", he mewed and walked away.

Morningflower began to think. She looked at the second born kit. A pretty tortoiseshell, like herself, with various shades of brown and red. Eevn a few black and white patches. For her, its was obvious. "Autumnkit," She mewed quietly.

Skimble returned with a big rabbit so he and Flower could share it. He laid it down in front of her. "He deserve first-bite.", he mewed and sat down. He watched his kits huddled all together like one ball of mixed fur. "Have you decided for names?", he asked. He stared at the brown kit who was huddled to such a ball that only the tail was visible. She pretty looked like a berry. "Berrykit....", he murmured under his breath.

"Berrykit, for the tortoiseshell brown one," Flower paused thinking, "And Autumnpaw for the brown and black one, with the little bits of white," She stopped and thought again, "and what about Cedarkit, for the fire coloured one?" She mewed thinking carefully.

Skimbles eyes shone with pride. He looked at his mate. Could she read his mind? These names were absoluty what he had in mind, too. "They're perfect.", he mewed. Then he stood above them and looked down on his offspring. "Welcome to WindClan, Berrykit, Autumkit and Cedarkit. May you be true clan cats at heart and good warriors."

Autumnkit squeaked as she heard the names being called. Her little mouth seemed to twist into a smile at the sound of her name as if she already knew. She wriggled closer to her mother warm belly to suckle.

Fawnkit tried to keep her distance. She didn't like the noises this cat was making. She padded up to the tom who was lying beside the cat. "What's happening?" she asked innocently.
