Its finally happening!!!!

Morningflower lay in her nest, her legs splayed at her side. She flicked her tail and weaved the soft feathers of the thrush she had just eaten into her nest. She stood up, her tail waving happily and carefully picked up the bones to discard them outside.

Flower made her way carefully outside and scratched a hole in the sand near the dirtplace. She scraped dirt over the bones when she felt sudden kick in her belly. Flower shook her head thinking it was nothing more then a kick. Then making her way back to the nursery another sharp pain hit her. She swallowed and muttered to herself, Its nothing!

Just about to enter the Nursery Flower groaned and collapsed. She was sure now, the kits wre coming! She yowled, but a contraction cut her off. She fell back panting and tried to heave herself up and at lest get into the nursery, the queens could then help her. But how ever hard she tried, she just couldn't get up.

[Wolvine]

Otterkit rose his head and gave a grunt. "Can't yopu give birth more quietly? I'm trying to sleep!"

[Cheesles]

(lawls. the sooooo typically male!)

Silverfeather looked at her kit, "Otterkit!" She mewed warningly. she leapt up and looked at him, "Not one sound, go get the medicine cat, I'll talk to you later!" As she rushed outside to help the queen.

[Lynx]

Skimbleshanks pricked his ears as he heard mews of pain out of the nursery. He left anything he did before and raced to the nursery, nearly stamping over a kit that crossed his path. "FLOWER!", he yowled. Then he saw that his love wa giving birth to his kits. "They're coming...", he mewed softly, pressing his muzzle against hers. "You're doing fine.", he mewed. "Everything will be alright."

[Wolvine]

Otterkit glared at his mother. "Its not like every cat giving birth needs a medicine cat around. I'm going to try sleep now. Night" he curled up and flattened his ears against his head, placing his tail over them for good mesure.

"We need to get her in to the nursery, even though nearing New Leaf, the cold could kill the kits, it won't do her much good either." Silverfeather mewed grabbing the young she cat's scruff and dragging her carefully to her nest. Silverfeather shook Otterkit as he lay down. "You will go get the Medicine Cat now Otterkit or big trouble will come your way."

[Wolvine]

"Do your worst." Otterkit mumbled, sighing. His mother was as bad as his sister. "I was born in dead winter and SIlverfang says that there wasn't a medicine cat present."

[Lynx]

Skimble licked the muzzle of his mate to calm her down. "You're doing this great, you will be the best mother. Keep going!", he whispered in her ear.

[Cheesles]

"I'm really surprised there wasn't Otterkit! You don't know what it is like and never will. It just in case anything goes wrong that you have a medicine cat when a she cat is giving birth. Go get her now," Silverfeather mewed trying to stay calm. Then grabbing Otterkit by his scruff she padded outside. She left Otterkit in the Medicine Den and all she said was, "He has something to tell you," Before walking out.

"I don't know what to do!" Morningflower mewed, her voice full of panic, "I'm not ready! I can't do this!" She mewed struggling in her nest.

[Lynx]

"Now calm down!", Skimble mewed. "You CAN do this. You ARE ready. Just start pushing when you feal the most pain. Everything will be fine. Relax now.", he meowed, lying down beside her.

[Wolvine]

Otterkit sighed and padded back to his nest. "Not going!"

[Cheesles]

Silverfeather sighed and shook Ivykit, "Ivykit can you go?" For once she wasn't answered with a snark reply from Otterkit, "Ok mother!" And she padded off.

"When is that?" Morningflower mewed as another contraction hit her. "When is the most pain? All of this is the most pain!"

[Lynx]

"Shhh", Skimble meowed and nudged her head to calm her down. "You will know when the time has come. You're doing a great job." He licked her muzzles and moved closer to his mate.

"Stupid fat she-cat givin' birth to more fat kits." growled Cobrakit next to the snarky Otterkit. He was feeling extra bitter. Not only was he all alone in the nursery, but now he had to listen to the wails of this pudgy she-cat. Geez. It couldn't hurt that much. His mother gave birth every month.

Coalkit laying next to his brother, watched the whole birthing from his nest, in silence. Thinking, pondering over the stupidity of the cats here. Otterkit wouldn't go get the Medicine Cat, but he couldn't blame him, he didn't want to walk out there, especially with the disappearence of SnowClan, they might come back. At any rate, the whole thing didn't make sense. Why would they bring the kit into the Medicine Den and leave? That just didn't amke sense. If you're there, why not just say what you needed? These cat, Coalkit was quickly learning, where not as bright as he first thought they were.

[Wolvine]

Otterkit sighed, glaring jelously at Morningflower. Silverfeather had never made such a big fuss over him, and that cat wasn't even her kin! He had been born in dead Leaf-bare without a medicine cat around, and he was alive, not dead. This fat queen's kits would be fine. "Though I wish they weren't. I wish they would burn and die." He murmred under his breath.

[Cheesles]

"Otterkit!" Silverfeather mewed at her kit. "Get out and stay out!" Silverfeather hissed. "Your being nothing but a huge nuisence!"

[Wolvine]

"WHy should I go out? You want me to freeze to death? Fine!" Otterkit hissed, his fur fluffing out. "I'll stay out! Never come back!" With another spit, he darted out of the Nurcery and out of camp.

OOC: Meh.... WHy are you such a drama queen? Just get the fat cat to give birth. Or are you going to keep it going for 12 days like last time? STAR HAS GONE SO GET OVER IT

OOC: Well Otterkit is so ignorant!

"Just breath," Mewed Silverfeather. "You'll be ok, I promise!"

Morningflower looked up at the other queen. Her trust showed in her gleaming green eyes. "I'm not ready!" She mewed,

"Yes you are!" Silverfeather answered encouragingly.

[Lynx]

Skimbleshanks joined Silverfeathers mewling.. "Yes, YOU ARE.", he mewed with his most encouraging deep voice. He looked his mate deep into the eyes, took one of her paws in his and repeated. "You ARE ready. Just do it."

[Cheesles]

"Ok," Flower mewed, slightly reasurred and begn to push as another contraction, stronger then the others, shook her body. All that time, she hadn't shifted her gaze from her mates eyes. Then a squeak was heard as a small mottled tortoiseshell kitten fell into the nest. Morningflower instantly grabbed the kitten carefully by the scruff and brought it to her belly and began to lick the kitten dry.

[Lynx]

Skimble began to purr so loud that he was even louder than the constant rain outside. The little tortoiseshell was a she-cat. He looked at Flower like "Are there more?" and held her paw even more. Then he leaned down and nudged the little kit to Flowers belly and it instantly began to suckle. "She's beautiful. Beautiful as her mother.", he mewed. He would like to ask his mate for a name, but maybe there'll be more kits, so this question can be asked later.

[Cheesles]

Then a little while later, a second kit fell into the nest, another gorgeous tortoiseshell she kit. she nudged it to her belly and licked it the wrong way, stimulating its breathing. She licked it then the right way, flattening its fur. One more! Morningflower thought to herself.

[Lynx]

Skimble began to lick both kits. "I'm proud of you.", he whispered in Flowers ears. "I really am. Those kits couldn't have a better mother."

[Cheesles]

Morningflowers eyes glinted with his compliment. "And they couldn't have a better fath," She was cut off with another paintful contraction, the worst of them all.
