Aspenleaf buried his scrawny, freshly-caught rabbit in the snow. He looked around for something to mark where he'd put it; the rabbit's white pelt blending with th snow. He found a large branch and dragged it over to the prey. He sat, wondering if he'd be able to find any more prey. He decided he'd give this rabbit to Raindapple, and anything else he caught would go to the fresh-kill pile.
He got to his paws, flicking his ears to rid them of the snowflakes that had gathered while he was thinking.
A low growl sounded to his side, and he whipped his head around to see a pair of yellow eyes glaring back at him. He scented the air, noticing he'd been upwind of the big, rusty-brown creature emerging from the thicket for as long as it may have been tracking him. Or maybe it smelled the rabbit he'd killed. Either way, he turned toward it, baring his teeth in a hiss, bristling and back arched as the fox snarled at him, baring its own yellow teeth.

[Wolvine]

Dewpaw gave a hiss, abandoing her scrawny mouse and lunging at the fox, crashing it against a tree and temporarily diverting its attention away from Aspenleaf. She clawed its side, before being plucked off and thrown against the ground, her grey-green eyes burning.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Aspenleaf growled and leaped onto the fox's back, sinking his teeth into its shoulder. The fox snarled and bit into his tail, throwing him down into the snow. He hissed and shook the snow off his head.

[Wolvine]

"Aspenleaf!" Dewpaw cried. "You OK?" Without waiting for an awenser, she slid under the fox's legs, and began to claw its belly. It growled and aimed a bite at her, which missed by a heartbeat.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Aspenleaf lunged at the fox's turned head, clawing at its eyes.

[Wolvine]

Dewpaw gave a squeal as the fox clawed at her belly in a blind furry, atepmting to shake Aspenleaf of it and crush the smaller cat. She rolled away from it, panting.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Aspenleaf was thrown off of the fox again, hissing. He leaped forward and shoved Dewpaw away from the fox's snapping jaws. He whirled around and lunged for its hind leg. "Go and see if there are any patrols around to help!" he yowled, biting into the fox's leg as it spun around to try and grab him.

[Wolvine]

"No! If there where any they would have heared us by now!" Dewpaw darted in between the fox's legs, nipping its heels.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Good point. He made a mental note to slap himself later. He should've known that. (("heared?))
Aspenleaf let go of the fox, soon lunging back, at its neck. "Why isn't it running?"

"I don't now. Maybe it has kits?" (Foxeh kids called kits X3) Dewpaw replied, slashing.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

And I know fox babehs be kits :3

He sank his teeth into the fox's shoulder again, slashing at its muzzle as it tried to reach him and Dewpaw. "That would be even worse!"

"But it would explain why it doesn't go!" She puffed, jumping to one side.

[Naruto]

A loud yowl of fury echoed from the undergrowth as a huge ginger tabby tom leaped out of the bushes, his eyes angry. Gorsetalon noticed Aspenleaf and Dewpaw both fighting the fox, and jumped forwards, driving his long, hooked claws into the creature's shoulder. A scream escaped it's throat as it turned on him, biting down on his ear and jerking it's head.
