"how long have you been a warrior?" Sparrowflight asked Waterstorm politely.

[Mosspaw]

"I've been a warrior for the past 6 moons." Waterstorm said, stopping the cleaning of his fur. "You?"

"same here"sparrowflight said awkwardly.

[Mosspaw]

Waterstorm stretched, before asking, "How long have you been in the camp? I've kind of been sleeping, I was in a battle a while ago against another clan's warrior, but we won, so that's always a good thing."

"i just got here." Sparrowflight said thoughtfully.

[Mosspaw]

"Oh, okay, I was afraid that I had missed something." Waterstorm let out a purr of amusement, before continuing, "So you're from Venomclan, I personally don't really know much about that clan..." He looked at Sparrowflight, she looked thin as a bone, but her fur looked clean enough. "Have you eaten since you got here? I could go and get you something, if you want."

"oh I'm quite fine, but thank you." sparrowflight lied.

[Mosspaw]

Waterstorm left the Warriors den, only to return moments later with a mouse clamped in his jaws. He lied down in front of Sparrowflight, putting the mouse down between them. "Eat up, even if you're not hungry, you'll be needing your strength, if you've come from the mountains, and been in a battle. I'll probably have to share with you, the clan might think you're just here to eat our prey if you eat your own." Waterstorm pushed the mouse closer to Sparrowflight. "You first."

"okay, fine" Sparrowflight smiled with gratitude at Waterstorm as she took a small bite of the mouse.

[Mosspaw]

Waterstorm took a small mouthful of mouse, before asking, "Was anyone hurt when you fought the cat, oh what was their name again..."

"Scarface" she said. "and nothing but a couple of scratches and bruises." she said defiantly.

"Well that's something positive. Now you start asking the questions, I think that you have more to ask than I do." Waterstorm meowed, looking intently at Sparrowflight, waiting for her question, of which he would answer.

"okay." Sparrowflight said as she thought of some questions "how many other cats are there in windclan?"

[Mosspaw]

Waterstorm thought for a while, there is the warriors, the apprentices, the queens, the elders, Wolfstar, the kits, Sparrowflight some point soon, if Wolfstar approved... There had to be a dozen warriors, maybe 10 apprentices, 6 kits, a few elders, Wolfstar, a couple queens, before he spoke, "I'd guess around 40 cats in all, but I'm probably underestimating."

Sparrowflight's beautiful eyes went wide with amazement "wow." she said in amazement "do you think they will except me?" she said in a wondering tone.

[Mosspaw]

"Well I would, and that's saying a bit" Waterstorm was referring back to when she woke him up. "I can't really speak for the others, though, some of them think that the clan's blood should run pure, and there should be no rogues, loners, or cats from other clans, but I'm sure that even they will accept you at some point."

"thanks" Sparrowflight said thoughtfully. "they arent going to have a big ceremony for me are they?" she said with a slightest sign of shyness.

[Mosspaw]

"I don't think that Wolfstar will have a ceremony, he may or may not call a meeting... He's grown old." Waterstorm wished that his leader would be of good health, and not some old sickly cat.

"good... i dont like being the center of attention, feeling all the eyes on your pelt makes my skin itch." Sparrowflight said relieved.

[Mosspaw]

"I know what you mean, I used to freak out if I was called out in public, then there was an awkward silence. It kind of makes you want to yelp like a kit..." Waterstorm remembered his Apprentice ceremony, he was so scared, he couldn't even talk.

"Exactly, at my ceremony I wanted to just jump out of my fur!" Sparrowflight exclaimed. "so what do you think of Eagleflight?" she said thinking up a conversation with one of the first cats she has seen in moons.

[Mosspaw]

"There isn't much to say about Eagleflight, I usually don't have to patrol with her, and I'm usually not the one to go out hunting with her, either. We normally don't talk much, the most I know is about her and (Badgerclaw I think), any cat in the clan can see that they're into each other. But the truth is, I scented them when they left, so I followed the trail, and it left away from the clan... I knew it wasn't my business much, and that they themselves knew what they were doing, so I didn't have much of a point in following, and besides, it's brought us a cat, hasn't it?" Waterstorm meowed, nudging the fresh-kill towards the she cat.

as she took a bite of the small mouses body, then swallowed she said "I was sure to die if she and Badgerclaw had not come and gotten me." Sparrowflight meowed.

[Mosspaw]

Waterstorm looked at her, she was very thin, and probably would have died if not for the two cats, but he doubted many cat's capabilities, he wondered if she really would have. "I'm sure you would not have died, seeing that you had a whole territory to yourself." he took a bite of the mouse, before continuing, "I wonder why Badgerclaw and Eagleflight decided to go by themselves..." he said to himself, trailing off in thought.

"I guess it must have been very personal going back to venomclan for eagleflight. so thats why she probably went with badgerclaw. and besides she probably wanted to be alone with her mate a couple of days, every couple should get some time alone." Sparrowflight said purring.
