Flarestorm walked into the center of camp, looking for her mate, Shadowclaw.

Shadowclaw stretched for the second time before exiting the warriors den. Padding contentedly towards the fresh kill pile he looked up to see his mate wandering forlornly around camp. He quickened his pace and steered towards her.
"What's up?" He said in a way making it sound more formal then the phrase was supposed to be.

[Naruto]

Flarestorm nearly jumped in surprise. "Hey. I was just looking for you."

[Cheesles]

"I thought so." He mewed soothingly. "How are you?" He mewed before bounding to the fresh kill pile and back again in four long strides. In his mouth sat a rather plump leaf-bare fish. Big enough for both to share.

Shadowclaw beckoned for Flarestorm to sit down before himself with his tail.

Flarestorm sat, looking a little flustered. "Ur, thanks."she mewed, shifting her paws anxiously.

[Cheesles]

Shadowclaw sat down after his mate. He beckoned for her to take the first but as well. He put his tail over his front paws and licked his chest.

[Naruto]

"Er, no thanks."she mewed quickly, pushing it towards him with one paw.

[Cheesles]

"Ok," He mewed looking at her. His eyes questioned her. Shadowclaw was beginning to worry. Flarestorm was not acting her usual self.
"Is there something wrong I should know about." Shadowclaw asked. Being the deputy he was used to cats keeping secrets around him.

[Naruto]

"Er, not exactly wrong,"Flarestorm mewed, laughing nervously. Then she took a deep breath. "I- I think I'm expecting kits."

[Cheesles]

"Mine?" Shadowclaw mewed as uncertainty filled him. But he was happy! He was going to be a father again.

[Naruto]

"Yes."Flarestorm meowed, licking her chest a few times self-consciously.

[Cheesles]

"Wow," Shadowclaw mewed not fully taking it into acount. Then he realised. Shadowclaw leapt up quickly forgetting his meal.
"I'm gonna be a father?" He mewed.

[Naruto]

"Yes,"Flarestorm said simply, looking up shyly. "Um..." She wasn't really sure what to do. She'd never been a mother before.

[Cheesles]

Seeing his mate worry Shadowclaw sat down beside her and mewed softly.
"I know you will be fine." He mewed licking her check lovingly.

[Naruto]

She took a deep breath. "Thanks,"she murmured, nuzzling his cheek softly. Her dark ginger pelt had tiny, red splots from where the snow had melted on her fur, and she twitched her ears nervously.

[Cheesles]

"You'll do fine, like you do at everything else. Our kits will be special, like you." Shadowclaw mewed as the snow began to softly fall around them.

[Naruto]

Flarestorm would blush if her thick orange fur wouldn't conceal it.
