"Grr,"she grumbled,rubbing her tail with one paw. Then she thought;he was right. She needed a move that would work with bigger opponents. She rummaged through all the moves she'd learned from her mentor,Thrushflame. Maybe that one....Or I an combine it with that one and it'll be twice as effective! Hollypaw,crouched,gathering strength into her back legs. Then she shot forwards,aiming for Mudpaw's paws. She turned to the side;in a real battle,that would defend her belly from her opponent's claws as she off-balanced them by ramming into their shoulders/paws. She noticed that she was still too small for the move to actually work before she'd performed it,so she shot her paws out to hook Mudpaw's feet out from under him.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

"What're you, her mentor?" Brightpaw teased, taking a bite of her mouse.

[Mosspaw]

Mudpaw jumped off to the side, and stumbled, off balance, but regained his stance. Now he was ready, and saw that Hollypaw has gotten serious. "Let us begin, then." He Repeated that move that he did twice, but then, instead of pinning Hollypaw, he jumped back to his starting position. Mudpaw did 2 circles before jumping on Hollypaws tail, pressing harder now, but still not too hard.( ;) ) Mudpaw finally lied down, back in his starting position. Now, that Hollypaw was concerned with her tail, he could do his new move. Mudpaw ran to the left, stopping half way around Hollypaw to barrel straight into her at his full body weight.

[Naruto]

Hollypaw squeaked,flying backwards and being pinned underneath Mudpaw's greater weight. "Let me up!"

[Mosspaw]

Mudpaw jumped off of Hollypaw, he backed up a few fox-lengths and sat down again, feeling reel tuff. He noticed Hollypaws smooshedyness, so he stopped attacking. "If I'm not the best, who is?" He asked tauntingly, remembering what Hollypaw had said.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Brightpaw finished her mouse, slightly frustrated at being ignored. "Ah, well." she yawned, swishing her tail happily.

[Mosspaw]

Mudpaw walked over to Brightpaw, laying down next to her. "You seem frustrated. And yes, of course I'm her mentor. (haha) You aren't very patient." He meowed, stating the obvious. He put his head on his paws.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

"Pfft." Brightpaw flicked his nose with her tail. "I may not be patient, but I'm smart enough to know that you can't mentor an apprentice for mouse tails." she meowed teasingly, touching his ear with her nose. "Not yet, at least, not while your an apprentice yourself!"

[Mosspaw]

"Or can I?" Mudpaw meowed challengingly. "Who says that an apprentice can't mentor an apprentice? Except The leaders, and the deputies, and the medicine cats, and the warriors, and the elders, and the queens, and the kits, and the rogues, and the loners, and the kittypets, no one says that I cant." (double haha) "See? No one besides those cats say that I cant mentor an apprentice as an apprentice." He teased, poking her ear with his tail, and he purred, amused.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

"I say they can't, that's who," she cuffed his ear playfully and yawned, looked up at the darkening sky. "Great StarClan, I'm tired." she got up and stretched. "G'night Hollypaw, Mudpaw." she made her way to the apprentices' den.

[Mosspaw]

Mudpaw noticed his 'tiredness' and was off to the apprentices den. He ran past Brightpaw and went into the apprentice's den, and lied in his nest, curled up in a ball.
