Heatherpaw again waited for her old mentor in the warriors den, tail twitching with irritation that she'd had to wait so long, again,to come and get him. And then he doesn't show up when she'd expected him to? Ugh.
She looked completely normal sitting here, enthusiastic but tired of waiting for her mentor to show up. She looked like every other DarkClan apprentice. If you excluded the fact that her body was see-through and that her hazel eyes gleamed like fallen stars.
A slight smile curved the corners of her lips. Bengalbelly was in for a surprise in this dream. It was something she'd just learned. And she was going to put it to good use right now.

Bengalbelly walked into the warriors den. He gritted his teeth as the pain from his most recent injuries started to hurt as he took a step. The wound on his paw was covered in a poltice from their good ol' medicine cat, Featherstream. Yugh. As well he had some on his ear, his back, and his cheeck.
Yes, these injuries he could only give thanks to for Church and Clovernose. He sighed. Man, today was cold and it sucked. He just wanted to go to sleep now.
He lay down in his bedding and curled up. How come he couldn't just sleep until it was newleaf again? Quickly he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
"Hello again,Bengalbelly."Heatherpaw growled, materializing into his dream. Her voice was like ice,and her eyes were like stones. She waved her tail in greeting, but the movement was stiff, forced. "How nice it is to see you again."
Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
"Aw, and just when I thought you'd finally left me for good." Bengalbelly said with a very uncaring and bored tone as he leaned lazily against the invisable walls of the blackness that was his own dream.
It was like a black, dark, never-ending void of nothingness, barren from all life except the two of them, Bengalbelly and Heatherpaw, and whatever crazy thing that may or may not pop up. The only ends being whatever his mind so choose. The other end of the are could be just a step away, if he wanted it to be, or even if he didn't. He couldn't actually choose.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Narrowing her eyes,Heatherpaw smirked. "You'll be rid of me soon enough. But before I go," Her grin widened. "I would like to show you something." She walked towards him,her pawsteps graceful and somehow alarmingly meaningful. She stopped when she was right in front of him,and she murmured something unintelligible before reaching out to touch his forehead with her nose. "To know my pain is all I wish."
Suddenly, the empty blackness of the place where Bengalbelly dreamed was replaced by a dark, eerily familiar forest. The scent of FireClan mingled with the mixed scents of DarkClan and fear.

OOC: OMG, is he going to be put in HP's position? Because that would be awesome. XD
Bengalbelly backed away from Heatherpaw. "Don't touch me." He growled at her. He looked around at this new scenery. The all too familiar forest that was DarkClan's. FireClan's scent was mixed too, as well as... fear? What was she trying to show him now?
"This again?" He sneered, "Why do you keep showing me this, just so I can tell you to get lost again? I'm getting tired of it."

OOC:You guessed it. XD
Heatherpaw smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "You'll see soon enough. Look at your pelt. And wonder why your running." A cold wind blew, ruffling her fur. As if she were made of ashes, and started to disintigrate like the breeze was a set of claws.

Next thing he knew was that he was... running!? What was with this? THis dream!? What was going on!?

"This way!" Badgerpaw's voice rang out strong from Heatherpaw's memory,as the tom swerved through brambles. The dream-cat looked back at Bengalbelly and said,"Are you sure you want to go?"
OOC:Look at the thread. You see why I asked there.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
"I have to. They'll kill me if I go back," Bengalbelly gasped. What? What did he just say!? He didn't even want to say that! Why in the world did he say that!
Something... some... force... compeled him to look behind him. There he saw himself. Looking into his own green, narrowed-eyes and see anger, hate, fury, and some form of betrayal. What was going through his mind at this point? If he could remember, but he couldn't, and he could even think about it at this point.

The apprentice nodded. "We're almost there! Just keep running!"he panted, his muscles bunching and stretching with the effort of running across the whole of DarkClan territory. "Just over the border! We're gonna make it!"
Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Bengalbelly kept running after Badgerpaw in this whole... dream that they were in. He wanted to stop, he wished he could stop, but he couldn't stop, no matter what he did! Some... force wouldn't let him stop.. some force he was sure was that wretched cat that he used to call an apprentice.
Suddenly he felt claws dig into his flank, and immediately he knew he had been caught. "Keep going! I'll be fine!" He yowled. Why did he say that? Of course he wouldn't be fine! He remembered this moment perfectly, and he wasn't eager to be on the other side of those claws.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Badgerpaw sped across the border, and didn't look back.
Heatherpaw watched from the trees, her form misty and see-through. Bengalbelly wouldn't be able to see her. But she could see the whole nightmarish scene below. She grinned wickedly as the dream-cat caught up to Bengalbelly and ripped his claws into his/her flanks, and knew that there was a scream of pain fighting it's way up his throat. How did she know? Well, that was her body reliving her last memory. Of course she'd know!

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Bengalbelly felt pain go through him as the Dream-Bengal's claws dug deeper into him. Instantly he knew what was coming next. Just as he expected he felt claws rake down his back, and he let out a soft yowl.
Quickly, he whirled around towards the Dream-Bengal and started to batter at it's head and kick at it's belly with his hind paws. He didn't know why he had chosen to do that, but he was forced to, and even if the control that seemed to be holding him wasn't there, he'd still have to defend himself.
He felt himself being unbalanced and fell to the ground. He could see the Dream-Bengal approach him. He pushed back with his hind-legs, terror urging him to get away. This was almost the scariest time of his life! Or so it felt.
How come he was forced to relive this againand again and again? And now he seemed to be on Heatherpaw's end of it all. Soon enough, rage filled his body. He thought it was his own, but no, it was just the own rage that was in Heatherpaw at this time, and it was one that was very intense. He felt no more terror, and the only thing left was that one emotion.
He clawed at the Dream-Bengal's head. He watched as it jumped back and practically glared right into him as the blood on it's head began to wash away by the rain that fell.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Heatherpaw still stared down at Bengalbelly, blinking slowly. She winced, and started panting, feeling as if she'd been running through the forest for a long time. The draw-back eh?she thought, wincing again when Bengalbelly's claws ripped through her fur.
She hadn't expected the pain to be so intense, and hadn't expected that she would have to relive that agony with Bengalbelly from her last day. She was surprised that she had to bite her tongue to keep from screeching her pain, because she knew that when Bengalbelly woke up,he'd remember everything as if he'd lived it a million times. every detail, every emotion....those would all be his.
But at least she was getting rid of this memory. She really didn't want to be writhing on the ground in her new body, cringing from the pain of the death of a past-life. Plus, that would totally clue Bengalbelly in,as well as Nightstar and everyone else who'd sentenced her to death. She would surely die again then.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Bengalbelly staggered to his paws as he watched the Dream-Bengal rush towards him. It was going to tackle him. But that's not how he remembered it. Suddenly, it stopped in front of him and hooked it's paw under him, catching him in his stomach.
Right, that was how it happened. Fooled by his own trick. Pain exploded through him and he bit back his own yowl of pain as his legs gave way weakly and he started to sink to the ground. He coughed and looked down his stomach to see the hooked claws of it this Dream-Bengal still hooked in and blood started to seep out.
His vision seemed to blur as the pain rose. He lay his head on the ground, looking feeble in his exhausted and pain filled state. "How did this.... happen...?" He rasped, just as Heatherpaw did on that day. He almost felt as if he was saying it himself. How did this... how could this have happened?
"You never listened to your mentor," he heard it snarl at him, reflecting the rage, anger, betrayal, and the overall hate that filled his very voice. He felt claws hook deeper into them before they were violently raked through his body. He screeched out in pain and curled up in some attempt to protect himself.
He could still feel the claws stuck in him. The ginger fur that replaced his own became red with blood. He battered weakly at it in an attempt to defend himself.
"You don't think I didn't try?" He hissed at it, anger still in him despite the pain and weakness he held. He screeched again as the pulling went on. "Help!" he cried out, but he knew none would come.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Gritting her teeth against the onslaught of pain,Heatherpaw still watched, eyes cold and angry. She almost stopped the dream, just because of the agony that no one else could feel that was spreading through her body. She saw Dream-Nightstar walk up,limping and bleeding slightly. He cleared his throat before saying,"Well, well. What do we have here?"
Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
"No, you didn't try. Instead you tried to quit and run," the Dream-Bengal growled. "But what you didn't know is that you can't escape your mentor, no matter how far you go."
Those last words rang in Bengalbelly's ears. That statement had been the most memorable of this horrible day. No, you can't escape your mentor, but you can't escape your apprentice either. That's what Heatherpaw had told him in their first encounter of his dreams. He remembered it so clearly, exactly the way he told him, almost if she were right next to him, whispering it to him in his ears.
For a second, it seemed as if the dream had stopped and slowed down. He couldn't feel the pain, the agony, the terror, the hatred that filled his and Heatherpaw's body. No, right now it was a calm shock that he felt as he looked into the eyes of the Dream-Bengal. Him almost, it was.
No, it couldn't be. He didn't remember this day so savage and so cruel, so unforgiving. He remembered the hate and the thoughts that dealt out every single aspect of his whole situation that all pointed to "Yes". Every conclusion all said that this moment, the very action was correct and right.
There was no other option, and if there was, it was clouded and blocked by rage-filled logic and an overall hatred and... sadness? That seemed to envelope him on this very day, this very moment.
Bengalbelly hissed as he felt claws wrench from his stomach as he was suddenly thrown back into the reality of this dream.
He glared at it this Dream-Bengal, feeling a new pain rise in him. He didn't know where it was from. He knew that it was Heatherpaw's own emotion, but from what?
"How much do you think I endured?" He snapped, thrusting out with his hind-paws in a sudden burst of strength. He winced as he felt the Dream-Bengal's claws pull in him more, but stopped when he heard the mew, of what he immediately considered to belong to the Dream-Nightstar. He lay limp on the ground, completely drain from his final move.
He let out yet another screech that pierced the air as he felt his leg being slashed by claws.

"Stop,"Nightstar growled, his voice eerily dream-like and filled with dark power. "I knew this would happen,"he muttered, staring at the savage scene that played out before his eyes.
Heatherpaw gasped, squeezing her eyes shut for a few moments as the pain from Bengalbelly's attack lingered.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
"How much do you think I did? How much do you think any other cat did? You think you have the worst life! You think everyone should pity you and agree with your reasoning all because of what you went through!?" The Dream-Bengal yowled at him.
As much as he wanted to, Bengalbelly couldn't say a thing. He was trapped by the voice of Heatherpaw, and he was too weak to do anything, but lay there. His throat hurt from the cnstant screeches that came from his mouth, he didn't want to feel anymre pain.
With any energy he had left, he looked up at the sky, expecting to see clouds or stars, but he saw nothing, but blackness. The scenery of this moment was all the same except.... for the sky. The blackness of his own mind, of every dream-less sleep he had still lingered there. He still had some control of what happened here, but he couldn't do anything to find it, and Heatherpaw had the most. She could easily thwart any plan he came up with, any energy he could muster to get away from this memory.
He winced as the Dream-Bengal ripped at him. It was all the nergy he had left to do. Anything greater he was sure would make him die of fatigue. He watched as it brought it's paw over to his neck, threatening to end it right there. He wanted it to, he didn't want to keep feeling this pain, or face what would happen next.
It stopped though, stopped at the command of it's dream-leader, just as he did. "Why didn't you just kill me?" He spat at it. Why hadn't he just killed her then? Before he had convinced himself that it was because he was to follow the orders of his leader, but now... he wasn't even sure. He could have easily done it, what was the worst that could have possibly happened to him? He couldn't answer that question, nor could he answer the new ones that surfed through his mind.
A fury swept through him, one that still burned with his last bit of strength. He didn't want to feel this anger, but he was forced into it. He just felt like giving up... wholey and completely, but he couldn't. Heatherpaw's spirit did not permit him to do that one simple task.

"It's almost over,"Heatherpaw muttered through her teeth, digging her claws into the bark of the tree she was in.
Dream-Nightstar grasped Bengalbelly by his scruff. "She has betrayed her Clan, and the Clan will deal the punishment on her,"he growled through her fur.
OOC:Should we speed this along to camp?

OOC: Yeah....
Bengalbelly did nothing as he watched the Dream-Bengal step away from him. He fell limp as he was carried by the Dream-Nightstar. "Why me..." He muttered as he tail dragged on the ground. He had given up, he felt, and it would only be a matter of time before the inevitable end came.
Would it be quick..? Or would he feel the pain and suffer a slow death? He didn't know, and he didn't want to find out, but it seemed as if Heatherpaw was going to make him.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Suddenly the scenery changed again, morphing and twisting,so that they were in a clearing next to camp. Bengalbelly was in a deep hole, three or four tail-lengths deep and a fox-length wide. Dream-Nightstar was glaring coldly at him. "For her betrayal,Heatherpaw will will out her days in this hole. No food and no chance to get out. She will either die of starvation or drown." Then he turned and stalked away.
Heatherpaw sat on top of the boulder that covered all but a mouse-length of the entrance to the hole, still unseeable. She heard the snickers and sneers of the watching cats, and saw Dream-Bengalbelly sitting outside the hole.

Re: Vivid Dreams(Member)
Bengalbelly watched as the scene changed and he was suddenly thrown into some unfamiliar hole. Where was he? He looked around in this place that he was, having control over his actions for just a little while. He paced around at the bottom before looking up at the bottom of the boulder.
Oh... why? He was inside that hole that Heatherpaw was carelessly condemned to. He was in this place now, this dark place for prisoners. "Let me out!" he wailed as he scrabled at the boulder, the role of Heatherpaw once again taking over. He heard his stomach growl, and felt hunger in him. He yowled louder. He had to get out. "Help," he whimpered as he started to shrink to the bottom of the hole.
This was so useless. His fur began to hold more water as it drained into the hole. He was wounded, bloody, muddy, and wet beyond all compare. How could he be sent into this... place? "Help."
He leaped for the boulder and his claws grazed on it. He had to get out, no matter what. He grunted with effort, his leg were still tired and his wounds still ached. With one more leap he grabbed onto a muddy little ledge inside and held there for a few moments.
Unfortunately, the little piece broke off a he screeched in terror as he fell down and landed with a hard thud. His shoulder ached. He tried to move away, but couldn't as he felt rock and mud fall on him, making his injuries sting more.
He winced and groaned softly as a stone hit him on the head, making blood trickle down from the wound. "Help," he mumbled before ulitmately giving up. He receeded to a corner and curled up, feeling the pain and thinking of the suffering that was to come to him.
He was too lost in this... reinactment, that he had stopped thinking about what to have come next, stopped knowing. He didn't want to know, but not knowing made his mind fill with terrible thoughts. What if he did starve down here? All those aching moments in this cramped space as he listened to the movements above. No one to help, all by himself.
What if he just drowned and suffered that way? The thoughts only brought grief upon him. Exhuasted, he curled into a tighter ball and closed his eyes.
Oh...

Heatherpaw knew that Bengalbelly only had moments left in her body before he woke up in his own dream realm. She still sat a top the boulder that had ended her life that fateful day,and stared down, through the huge rock at her body, crumpled in the corner.
