Raindapple sat out in the frost-laden woods,looking down at her paws. She wished she were smarter,and had never fallen for two toms. One,who was her best friend and had been ever since she'd come to the Clan,was on a journey. For what she had no clue. She could only hope he'd come back.

The other,who was probably in camp asleep right now,was probably the father of her unborn kits. She looked up slightly,seeing a leaf take a dizzying fall from the top of a tall maple tree. I wonder...she thought half-heartedly. If he's forgotten about me?

Redwhisker was out in the forest, he shouldn't have been. But he couldn't sleep. Then he caught a familar scent on the wind. He padded towards it and found Raindapple. Looking at her face, he could tell something was wrong.

Raindapple looked up,relief on her face. "Oh,Redwhisker. What are you doing out here?"

"I don't know." He looked at her then her belly.
"You shouldn't be out in the cold with your kits." He deliberatly siad your. Their realtionship wasn't working out. They probally weren't his kits anyway and he could tell she didn't like him.

Raindapple cringed slightly and looked back down. "I still haven't told anyone. If I was stuck in camp all the time,someone would suspect it sometime. Plus,it helps me to think out here." Her eyes flashed with hidden meaning before she said,"You don't have to pretend that they're not yours. We don't know yet."

[Cheesles]

"But when Leopardstrike gets back you will spend all your time with him. The kits will only think of him as their father. I won't be asociated with them what so ever. I may as well believe they aren't my kits. I love you Raindapple, I will love our kits but in return, it's not the same. I love kits and I will love yours more then other ones." He mewed.

Raindapple hissed in frustration. "I don't know if Leopardstrike is even coming back!" Then she narrowed her eyes,channeling all her grief and pain and fear into her voice. "Maybe your right. Maybe they aren't yours. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm an idiot and I fell in love with two toms!"she growled in a low voice,looking down.

"Your not an ediot." Redwhisker replied.

"If I wasn't an idiot this thing would've never happened,"Raindapple growled,blinking.

"I was an idiot too. I toke it all out on you and I shouldn't have done that. If you and I hadn't been silly, I wouldn't have meet such an amzing cat let alone have kits with her." He mewed quietly.

Raindapple looked up,meeting Redwhisker's eyes. "What are we going to do?"

"I will follow you and the kit to the ends of the earth." He mewed.
"Well we need to find out whos kits they are. If you spent a bit of 'personal' time with Leopardstrike before he left then they may be his BUT, they are more likely mine as they are only new aren't they not?" He mewed.

"Yeah,"Raindapple mewed,looking down as if she were ashamed.

"I should be,"Raindapple growled,her eyes flashing. "I don't need any cat's pity for something that I deserve." Her eyes softened a little bit. "I don't know what to do. I don't know if Leopardstrike is even coming home,or even when that'll be. I don't know who I should choose."
