A small of fluff was corralled in the back of the nursery, surrounded by a bed of moss, and feathers. He barely whimpered even though a storm raged outside of his comfortable den. He was almost completely oblivious to his condition, or who his parents truly where. How would he know? He couldn't even open his eyes or mouth yet. But he had could hear voices far away from him... Whispering his name, Twilightkit. This dark brown striped tom, with a chest of bright white fur, and paws of white twitched as he felt a drop snow seep through the roof of the nursery and land on him.

A fluffy striped tom was curled up next to Twilightkit, but not asleep. Spottedkit prodded his brother. "Twilightkit, wake up! Let's go do something...I'm so borrrrrred." He whined, jabbing Twilightkit's nose with a paw.

"You're awake."said a soft,shy voice. Mistpaw's sapphire blue eyes peeked into the nursery,and she smiled shyly. "I-I'm Mistpaw."she introduced herself with a stutter,dipping her head a little.

Honeykit was asleep byside her Mother, but when she herd the rest of the Kits waking up, she looked around her and yawned.

Twlightkit ignored his brother's prodding, growling under his breath. Sometimes his brother could be such an ignoramus. But of course he couldn't complain, he was just a kit, with no real understanding of what life was about. Twlightkit, stopped his brothers poking with an outstretched paw. "I'm getting up..." he muttered, gingerly standing up, and stretching his legs, and then quickly shaking his pelt of water droplets that showered off of his dark brown tabby pelt. He fell back on his butt as he softly massaged his pure white paws with his tongue.

And then a voice as soft as silk caught his attention, his newly opened eyes turned to the she-cat was a dull almost bored look, his dark gray eyes glaring at the she-cat. Mistpaw. He calmly walked towards the she-cat without uttering a word, walking in a circle around her and inspecting her appearance, smell, and anything else he could find out about her, though he didn't seem the least bit interested once he was done with his walk around. It may have seemed weird to anyother cat but it was perfectly normal for Twilightkit. "If you're so bored, Spottedkit, why don't you run around, I'm going back to sleep." And he walked back to his moss bed without another word.

Mistpaw tilted her head to the side,smiling a little. "You guys can come out here. It's snowing,"she added,worry gnawing away in her belly. What if the kits didn't like her? She pushed the thought aside and said,in what she hoped was a friendly voice,"And I could try to show you my hunter's crouch."

Spottedkit had never touched snow before. It was too cold outside. But he squeled in delight at the thought of learing to be a hunter. But he composed himself. "I already know how to be a hunter." Spottedkit crouched down in front of a ball of moss, waggled his butt, then tackled it. "See?" he meowed, his voice full of pride. "I'm already the best hunter in the clan!" Then he prodded his brother again.
