The Leopard's Return (Special 0pen)

It had been ages since Leopardstrike had been back to the Clan's. The last time he had been in ThunderClan territory, he had been leaving possibly for good. But now he was back... And he had big plans. His feet crunched on the snow as he wandered across the scent barrier and into ThunderClan territory. He leaped into the air, landing into the old familiar hollow. This is where he had met his love Blossompaw, thousands of times before, even though their love was forbidden. It also brought back memories of blood shed and heartache, that he didn't want to remember.

He scrambled out of the hollow, padding through the area, having flashbacks of every area he passed. There was the tree Moonecho had nursed him back to health when they had been caught in that storm. Or the briar patch he had helped Raindapple out of. That felt like a life ago, he had changed so much since then. For the better... Or for worse. He sighed, all these memories flooding back to him, it was hard not to just sit down, and rest. He was after all exhausted, but no. He had to get to ThunderClan, he had something bad to say to them, and do to them.

Leopardstrike couldn't help but ponder what his aunt, Silverstar's reaction might be. Probably horrific, or what about the Deputy Rainpelt. The last time he had seen them, had been moons ago. He wondered what they would say when they saw him again. The picture of health, compared to how he had used to look, a ragged, starved, wreck. But now... He was a powerful tom. Healthy, and full fed. He almost couldn't wait for it. He was so close to the camp now, and he was actually afraid. There were so many cats their. What if they all ganged up on him and attacked. It was a possibility.

Maybe he should just scout out a little while, wait until nightfall until he sneaked into the camp. He sighed. He wondered if this indecision was making him a wreck. He had to be brave, like he used to be. He backed into the forest again, this snow was really annoying. Where he used to be it was so much warmer, and he could actually smell prey. But now... Everything looked dead. What if ThunderClan was dead as well? Then he would of had no reason to come at all. Ugh! This was so stressful. Why couldn't life for once, just be simple for him! But instead... Everything was confusing.

He thought about all the people he used to know at the camp. Were they still on his side? Probably, not. He had been gone for moons, most of them had probably forgotten about him. But... Raindapple! She knew where he had gone, she knew exactly what he had done. Maybe he could persuade her to follow him again, and vouch for him. Though... Last time he had saw him, she had been dying. Maybe she was already dead, and it was all his fault. He growled to himself, she had made that for herself. But the guilt for his possible lost love was too much.

He paused, and stood still, in a large clearing, with thoughts pounding in his head. What was he supposed to do know? He might as well go back to where he had come from like the coward he was. He unsheathed his claws, wanting to attack something right, now. AH! Now he was turning into an emo-freak. He had to take control of himself soon, before he went over the edge, and became one of those psychotic freaks he had met on the way away from ThunderClan. He sighed, trying to control himself, this shouldn't too bad. He'd go into the camp soon, and wreak some havoc... Tomorrow.

Fellmoon was on border patrol, and after what he had gone though he was not in a good mood, when he came upon a scent he had never smelled before, it was that of a strange cat. He followed it to a clearing and there stood a cat he had never seen before. “Who are you”, Fellmoon asks simply to the stranger. Fellmoon seemed to stay completely calm, but was ready to fight if needed. He was not in the mood for games.

A pale gray pelt flitted lightly through the trees, Rockpaw's eyes wide with alarm. He had been hunting near the border when this.... Rogueish scent came over him. It smelled of a mix of all the Clans. Even DarkClan. He burst into the clearing, a growl rising in his throat. He saw a cat with a golden pelt, spotted like a leopard's.

I've seen him before! Was the instant thought that came to him. But he hadn't seen this pelt since he was a tiny kitten in the nursery. "Yes, who are you and what do you want?" The skinny apprentice demanded.

"Rockpaw", Fellmoon says to the apprentice, "Warn Frostheart, this is a trained fighter, you could not fight him". Fellmoon continues watching the cat, sensing a danger about him, and waits for the his reaction.

"Just because I'm half blind doesn't mean I can't fight him!"he spat back, his fur fluffing up. "Besides, we don't need half the Clan to take on one cat! And if it's another Clan's cat, we'll show them that ThunderClan is still strong!" Rockpaw squared his shoulders and glared at the other cat, crouching slightly. "Now answer my question! What do you want?!"

"My name is Leopardstrike." he said calmly, turning to look at the tom, without a glimmer of fear. Why should he be afraid? This was obviously a ThunderClan tom, he wouldn't attack him. Hopefully, he wouldn't. There were secrets that may have been leaked while he was gone, and that would mean a horrible future for him. And then, a blast from the past appeared. Rockkit. But he was taller, leaner, much more handsome than the dumb kit he used to know. Though he had only seen him once.

"There is no need to get the Clan, you see I-." he was cut off by Rockpaw who had been addressed as such. He looked at the pint-sized runt, that was showing some courage. Even though he had just given away a disability. He couldn't help wondering, why would they need to show that ThunderClan was still strong? Had something happened during his absence? He sighed, and shook his head, he would find out soon enough. "I've come to return to my home."

[Naruto]

"Leopard...?"Rockpaw pondered the name for a second. He was clearly confused by the time he said, "But everyone said you were dead."

[FellmoonX]

"Home", Fellmoon says. "Why did you leave, if this is was your home", Fellmoon asks, ready to drive the cat out at a moments notice, or to the clan if need.

"Maybe he needed to leave,"Rockpaw stated, narrowing his eyes. "Come on. You're our prisoner now. Silverstar will decide whether this is the real Leopardstrike or not." He jerked his head towards camp.

Sandfur was just about to hunt something and go out again after being stuck in the nursery for so long as she smelled an intruder. She raced towards the scent and found Fellmoon, Rockpaw and Blazepaw. "What is happening here?", she spat and looked to the strange cat. "Who are you and what are you doing on Thunderclan territory?!" Blazepaw stood side by side with her brother Rockpaw. "We'll chase him off!", she mewed and pressed herself closer to her brother.

Dewpaw stared at the tom, her head slightly tilted. "Hey!" She mewed pleasantly. Then she turned to look at Blazepaw. "If he was a thret he would have either run or attacked by now."

ooc: Why is everyone thinking Fellmoon can't fight Leopardstrike? Fellmoon is one of the clan best fighters, and could handle himself quite well against any foe.

ooc: Let me see, when found by group of rogues as a kit he was put through training that was a nightmare, he was never able to do what normal kits can, like playing, having fun. It was constant and grueling training by the leader, it is all stated in my bio. It also states that he became the best of a small group of elite killers, and then killing the leader of this same group, who Fellmoon had killed after seeing his evil, he was then tracked by their best trackers, but he escaped, as he was better. So yes, he can handle any cat, but I am not saying he will always win, just that he can handle any threat.

Leopardstrike backed a step back. So many ThunderClan cats were arriving, and they were treating him like some kind of menace. He had been gone a long time. And he didn't want to explain this all to them, it would be much more dramatic to arrive at Camp, as a prisoner, than the hero he was. He looked at all the cats with a confused glare, this leader-like tom, said to come with them peacefully, or fight them. Having a good brawl would be great to warm up his frozen limbs. Though he didn't want to humiliate the tom in front of all these other cats.

He sighed, looking at the tom, with his head cocked to one side. "Well then, I don't want to go up against a big, bad, tom like you," he said sarcastically, "I'll go with you to ThunderClan... Peacefully. Then I can explain this whole misunderstanding." The arrogance oozed off his voice like jam on toast.
