Redstar vs. Silverpelt

[Laddaustein]

Silverpelt padded into the clearing, following Redstar, and her pelt bristled. She knew that Redstar might yowl the battle, so she would have to fight her best. The she-cat purred, "So, I win, I stay. You win, I leave. This is going to be fun."

Ivorykit poked her head out, eyes glistening, to watch the fight that is about to begin.

Redstar faced Silverpelt, his tail lashing. He had been waiting for a battle, and was hoping a battle with Thunderclan would fuel his love of a fight. But that would come later. For the battle to go according to plan, he would have to use somebody as bait. Redstar would normally send a warrior he personally didn't like, but a rogue would do fine. Of course, he would have to lose a battle to a she-cat, which he didn't really like thinking about. He cleared his head and thought about his chances of winning the battle. Redstar knew that he himself must be more experienced. He could tell that from his own greying muzzle. Silverpelt looked young and might not know as many battle moves.
Redstar straightened up, flexing his muscles. He bared his teeth at Silverpelt. "Your move." He challenged.

[Laddaustein]

The she-cat smiled and she unsheathed her claws. Silverpelt then leapt at Redstar, fur prickling in the air, and aimed her claws at Redstar's muzzle and shoulder, hoping to hit either one. Her eyes sparkled as she considers her secret weapon.

[ϟ ɅȻԐ ϟ]

Redstar leaped backward, Silverpelt's claws barely touching his muzzle. "You gotta be better than that, rogue!" He hissed, swiping his paws at Silverpelt's eyes.

[Laddaustein]

The she-cat ducked under the swipe and headbutted Redstar's chest, yowling disorientingly.

Redstar growled, thrown back by the headbutt. He tackled Silverpelt's legs, biting at them like a fat guy bites a chicken leg.

[Laddaustein]

Silverpelt yelps and she kicks Redstar's face.

OOC: SHORTNESS~

Redstar winced as a paw slammed into his face. Trying a different tactic, he jumped backwards, then jumped into the air to land on Silverpelt's back.

[Laddaustein]

Silverpelt rolls onto her back and turns her eyes liquid to daze Redstar as she kicks him when he lands.

Redstar dodged in midair by propelling himself off one of Silverpelt's paws. He landed a few mouselengths away from her head. He straightened up. "Yes, yes...You'll do very nicely." Redstar meowed, almost menacingly. "Shadowclan welcomes you." He sheathed his claws. His clanmates would be wondering why she had been accepted so quickly, but they would know soon enough. And he couldn't risk many wounds, not with strange white powder falling from the sky. It could contain a disease. (XD)

[Laddaustein]

Silverpelt sheathed her claws and bowed her head. "Thank you." She let her fur relax and she smiled.

[Wolvine]

The silver she-cat bowed her head again. "I'll pick a spot in the warriors den and go hunting, if that's all right, Redstar." she murmured, not wanting to upset the leader after she was just accepted.

"Do whatever...just feed the clan first if you go hunt." Redstar headed off toward his den.

Poppypaw watched from the apprentices den. Her cold blue eyes were slitted as she watched the events unfold in the clearing. She wasb't the type to obey the warrior code but she would always obey her leader. She was the oldest apprentice and would hopefully have her ceremony soon. But, unlike other apprentices, she wasn't looking forward to it. She didn't like being center of attention. She wasn't shy infact she was quite bold. But she hated the feeling of several pairs of eyes watching her.

[DustClaw]

DustClaw had been watching intently. With his observing persnality he noticed RedStar didn't fight as hard as he could, but he had to worry about that later. DustClaw padded up to SilverPelt. "Good job Silverpelt" he purred "you were great, and you were so calm facing a leader."

"A traitor?" Poppypaw mewed sauntering up to Dustclaw and the, rogue.
"Why are you so friendly with thia outsider?" she spat.
