I know you're a thief, but you a also an honorable cat at heart and protect what is holy to you. You could do exactly that in this Clan. We hold together, patrol our borders and chasing of intruders. We hunt for the clan, then for ourselves, but there is more to eat that you'll find alone. We care for each other." He paused looking into Macs eyes. "Like you cared for me, when I was so small", he mewed. "I don't want to lose you again. See, I live here long enough now that the clan, well, gets around with me. But I'll stay a rouge forever as I am not clan-born. You would be like the kin the others have in the whole clan. Why don't you try?"

Vixenpaw's eyes widened. "A friend of yours,eh?"she murmured,padding up to the tom slowly and giving him a quick glance. "He would make a good warrior. Strong and cunning." Her amber eyes gleamed. "We need all the warriors we can get. But it's all up to Wolfstar and Smoketail."

Firenose let out a hiss at the cat. He was almost positive he was talking about Firenose's name. "I like my name!" He mewed defensively, his eyes darting about challengingly.

Vixenpaw's eyes gleamed with amusement. "Your choice. My name's Vixenpaw,by the way." She sat down and wrapped her bushy red tail over her paws. "You're gonna have to learn how not to steal if you come to live with us. We've had enough trouble with the other Clans already."she warned him,licking one white tipped paw and drawing it over her muzzle.

Macavity looked at Vixenpaw, doing his best to ignore the arrogant, annoying tom. "It is not impossible. The only reason I became a thief was to eat. Seeing as there is plenty of prey here, it would not be nessecary to steal. However this does not man I'm joining you." His words were stern, but secretly he was begining to warm to the idea.

"Look Macavity!", Skimble mewed. "They all want you!" He looked at his close friend. "I could watch over you and teach you the rules of the forest. It won't do you any harm! And you will like to be a warrior!" He looked at his Clanmates. "I promise he won't steal anything with me around to watch him." Skimble tryed everything to bring this cat, who was as close to him as his father would be, who he had just seen again after long years, who he don't want to lose again, into his adopted clan.

Mintpaw started to laugh but quickly covered it up with a cough. Firenose liking Macavity would be like DarkClan doing good deeds. Utterly impossible. She looked at her mentor, awaiting an outburst of denial of Macavity. Her tail twitched in anticipation of the funny scene that was most likely destined to unfold.

Vixenpaw smiled. "We don't have limitless prey. In fact,we're probably worse off than any other Clan. It'll be harsh,living out here,in the open moor. Are you ready to defend our Clan with your life?" She unsheathed her claws in emphasis,meaning that if he ever brought harm to WindClan,she would personally rip his throat out.

Give me some time to think about it and don't let your friends hurt me. Especially that pathetic excuse for a cat." He flicked his tail towards Firenose casually.
