"And if he knows nothing?" Cougarstreak questioned Vixenpaw. "What if he asked for a bite to eat or be housed before he told information he didn't even have, huh? Would you do that too? For nothing? We don't need information about DarkClan,we don't need it. We can't do anything with it."

Stealthclaw backed away from Whitepaw. "I don't know much about DarkClan, other than they work better at night. But I do know that most cats would perfer to attack from behind." The fury in his eyes dies and he looks at the warrior. "And why would I kill any cat? I know that this apprentice," he glares at Whitepaw, "only did what was right in her eyes." His face hardens again. "I haven't stolen any prey, though I might have something that can compensate for my trespassing." he looks at the damage he did to Whitepaw, "And I can do a small bit for that."

"So? We'll know they attack at night and then what? We prepare ourselves on guard and fight them with our many warriors? Vixenpaw, we have more problems to worry about than DarkClan." Cougarstreak looked over at the newer cat, narrowing her eyes at him. "Attack from behind? That's basic knowledge. What do you have to compensate your trespassing, a sorry? A lecture? Are you going to teach us all knew training techniques? I don't think there's anythign you can do to compensate other than leave."

Stealthclaw growled before he sighed and regained control. "One, I can give you some prey that I know you'll need. Two, I can fight for you, and hope not to die because I injured my leg in a recent battle. And three, I can scout out DarkClan and run faster then they can and warn you so that you are prepared!" he smiled and added, "You know you want me to help."

"Please explain how you'll get us prey. Steal it from other clans and get us into more trouble? Scout DarkClan? If you stay with us you'll have our scent all over you and it'll give them another reason to attack. How will you prepare us? By telling us to get ready? Then what..? We don't exactly have enough warriors even if we were ready for them." Cougarstreak frowned and growled. "I don't, and I'd rather you leave, now."

Stealthclaw laughed, "I have prey stashed away on the outside edge of Shadowclan territory, near the border. Prey taken from outside the Clans. I can go get it now. We're not that far from the border." he purred, "And how many warriors do you have? If you have at least 7, then you're okay with me here because I can take on 3 cats and usually sustain minor injuries." He turns and pads off, and a few minutes later returns with 6 pieces of prey, a couple in his mouth and the rest balanced on his back. "And here's the proof that I have prey to compensate."

Cougarstreak growled. "Do you know how much trouble that will get us into! If you walk around all the clans trying to find prey outside the territories, your scent will be everywhere! And if you live here our scent will be everywhere. We'll be accused of stealing prey! Can you compensate for that? I don't think it's in Wolfstar's best interest to have the other five clans fighting against us."

The tom growled. "I actually make sure my scent is masked, or washed away. I couldn't find anything to do that when I crossed into WindClan, so I just didn't try." His fur bristled and he unsheathed his claws. "If the only way for you to accept help you obviously need is to beat you in battle, then I gladly will."

Cougarstreak growled and unsheather her claws. "Beat me then, it'll just give me another reason to run you out of here," she growled. Fight her? Now she'd have more of a reason to chase this stray cat out of the territory.

He growled and sheathed his claws. "Fine. I'll leave. Tell the whole of WindClan that I've been here, I don't care. Know that you've made an enemy and if you need help and I'm the last cat left, I won't raise a paw to help." He turned and raised his injured leg, bolting off towards DarkClan.

WhitePaw was still bleeding "WAIT YOU MANGY CAT!" she yowled as her smaller stature caught up to the older cat and bit down on the one that was slghtly liping
