Firenose gaped in shock at the white elderly queen. Atleast the kits lived, he murmured almost out loud.

Halostep stroked Coalkit, the tiny black tom, hearing him wail. He already loved his mother, but unfortunately, she wuold never come back. A stab of pain protested in the queen's heart, reminding her of the way Windstorm had cared for the younger she-cat with such love. Sighing, she thought silently, determination flooding off of her. Her last wish was to protect her kits. I will make sure that wish is fulfilled to the best of my abilities. They will make fine warriors if I have anything to do with it.

Breathing in deeply, she stared down at the six kits. That was sure a handful.

Azurekit felt a warm feeling, being taken in by who she thought was her mother. And other snug bodies around her. Azurekit felt a purr rising up her throat. It was a good feeling, a tickle more like it. This is my mother? The small grey she-cat prodded her mothers pelt in front of her.

Poppykit was pushed towards someone, and then she was stupid, wait her nose is stuffed up.

Fieldpaw stuck his head into the crowded nursery. With six more kits in the clan he was sure WindClan would so promise. But... Wait... Who was that in the corner, not moving. That was Windstorm. "W-w-what happend?" the small tom asked, guess that she had died giving birth to her kits, I mean she was getting older. And then he turned his head to the six little kits, so beautiful and small. At least she died, saving three more WindClan cats He thought, it was sad.

Pantherfin watched the six little bundles of fur, their small bodies going up and down. Even though they lost a very nice and wise cat, WindClan got six more little warriors ready for anything in their future. He sat down next to Halostep, and leaned in a whisperd this:
"Any names?"

Caolkit calmed down as he felt the strokes. This new thing that seemed to hold him back, take him away from his mother, it seemed not to let him go. His feelings eased, soon forgotten. He'd have to accept whatever this was as his mother. He curled into her pelt, trying to warm himself again. But... something was wrong. This calling pain in his stomach. He wailed in his discomfort. He was hungry.

OOC: You're supposed to feed us when we're born! Worst. Mom. EVER! XD

Halostep purred to Pantherfin, pointing with her tail to each little kit as they suckled. "Cobrakit. He will be a strong one." The tan tom was pushing all the others out of the way. "Azurekit." A blue-grey she-cat. "And lastly, Celestialkit. A fighter." The snow-white tin she-cat.

Pantherfin let out a pur. "I love those names. Corbrakit; the strong one, Azurekit; the loud one, and last but not least Celestailkit; the fighter Did Windstorm name her kits before....." his voice was cut off, her knew it would be hard for her kits when the grew older.
