[Naruto]

Akuma sat,staring out into the forest,leaves swirling around her. The
white wolf's pelt was soaked,and she looked up at the rain that fell
steadily around her. She could scent the border;how couldn't she? The
smell of wolves was distinct among the reek of cats,especially since
they all smelled the same. A pack eh? she thought,her eyes distant with memories. A lightning flash illuminated the stormy night,making Akuma's fur turn silver. Why would anyone want to live here?

Kraze walked through the territory, thinking as always. He always come out here to think, for the silence. He spent most of his time out here it was almost as if he wasn't part of the clan.

He looked up when a scent wafted to his nose. It wasn't a familiar scent, not at all. Wasn't even from something that lived in this area. He growled as he went over to the spot and saw a white wolf there.

"What are you doing here?" He snarled.

[Naruto]

Akuma whirled,her pelt a white blur. "Who are you?"she growled,ignoring the other wolf's question. Her blue eyes flashed with menace,and she raised her hackles. She wasn't about to let her new home be taken away by another pack's wolf. Not by a long shot.

She stalked forward a few paces,her white fur gleaming faintly in the darkness. Her stiff legs showed she was ready to fight,and her tail was lashing from side to side in anger. Not even a hint of surprise showed on her fur.

"You're the one trespassing on our territory, you have no right to ask me who I am." Who was this crazy she-wolf? Man, he couldn't even come out and think without meeting some random wolf. He braced himself, ready for her to lung, or ready to lung himself.

[Naruto]

Akuma bared her teeth,flattening her ears to her head. "Can't I go anywhere without running into another pack?"she snarled,her eyes blazing. Her muscular shoulders tensed,read to attack if the other wolf moved.

"Well maybe if you use your nose you just might be able to." Their scent marking weren't faint. They were fairly knew in fact. She could have easily known if she was running into the wrong territory, she was just being stupid.

[Naruto]

"Well maybe I wanted to come into this territory,"Akuma growled,her voice icy. Her sleek white pelt was unmarked,showing that she hadn't been fighting long. She looked over the other wolf,deciding it wasn't worth a fight. "Just stay out of my way and leave me alone,"she snarled,lowering her hackles and sitting down.

"No," Kraze growled at her, "you leave now." He took a step forward, his teeth bared and his lips curled back. He was going to get this wolf out of here.

[Naruto]

Akuma stared at the other wolf calmly. "I could kill you on a whim. Now leave me alone. Before you die."she said coldly,hidden meaning to her words. She stared up at the sky,her eyes carefully blank. "You don't want to be around me."she murmured,turning back to him with her dead,cold stare.

So she wasn't going to leave, eh? Why did she have to be so difficult? Why couldn't she just go. Or at least try and live somewhere else. He growled and lunged at her turned back.

Akuma whirled again,her teeth bared as she lunged at the other wolf,feeling teeth tear at her shoulder. She aimed for his neck,her eyes flashing as lightning struck the skies. She bit down,tasting blood in her mouth.

Kraze let go of the white wolf's shoulder quickly when he saw her lung for his neck. He pulled back fast enough to get away form her attack, but barely. That could have ended badly. He aimed another attack at her leg.

Akuma didn't yelp as the other wolf caught hold of her leg;this was part of her strategy that she had,if she was ever attacked. "Now you can't get away!"she snarled,aiming for his neck again. But she hadn't anticipated how deep the shoulder wound was,and she winced,throwing off her aim. She would hit his shoulder instead,not the fatal bite she'd hoped for. But that would come soon enough.

Kraze quickly let go of the wolf's leg when he felt a sharp pain stab him. That would have gotten him in the shoulder. He pulled away from her and growled in pain and fury. He jumped at her again, looking to knock her over, ignoring the pain in his arm.

Akuma rolled over with him,snarling. She lunged for his throat,aiming to end this fight. As her mouth flooded with the salty tang of blood,she felt pain grip her as teeth grabbed her neck. Her eyes widened,but she didn't panic.

When the two had stopped rolling Kraze's eyes widen. He felt a pain in his neck. Was this the end to him? No, he realized that when he was still breathing. She had just got him in the skin of his neck, pulling on that thin layer. Lucky him, but he was still in trouble. She could easily shift her grip and kill him. He looked down and saw he had her in the same position. Should he try and take the final blow? Or wait for her ot do it?

Akuma realized that she just barely had him,but she felt her strength ebbing,her breath was coming in shallow gasps;he had her slightly deeper than she had him. She lunged forward to sink her fangs into his neck deeper.

Kraze drew in a quick breath when the wolf got a better grip on his neck. Now he was really in trouble. The wolf had really gotten him now. She had gotten a better grip, and he could feel the new difficulty he had breathing. He adjusted his grip on her too, trying to get her in the throat. He didn't know about this, he didn't like it either. If he could get her this time, he knew she'd get him, and then it'd be over.... he let out a whimper, not trying to mask it from this stranger.

[Naruto]

Akuma heard the whimper,but couldn't make a sound. He had her throat in a death hold;she could hardly breath. She felt her grip easing off of his neck,and she struggled,trying to throw the fight in her favor. But she knew that if he just bit down a little harder....It would be over. Her body was weakening from the lack of air,and she felt herself go limp. Her eyes widened in surprise. There,standing before her,was Tatsuko,his brown and white pelt gleaming wetly. In place of the wolf that was trying to kill her,was her former best friend. The wet patches on Tatsuko's pelt were blood. Her parent's blood. She felt rage pound through her,and she howled angrily,throwing her back legs into his stomach.

Kraze made a growl of surprise when the wolf kicked him off her. He landed on his side and then got up to his feet. He breathed in a rough breath and then could go easy again. Though, sometimes his breaths were rough. He looked at the wolf. Could he keep this up?

Akuma stayed on the ground,gasping for breath. Her blue eyes were now closed,a steady trickle of blood seeping from her throat and neck into her white fur,staining it red. She tried to get to her paws,but flopped back over on her side weakly. She opened her eyes and stared at Kraze. It's over.

Kraze looked this other white wolf. She was weak, she couldn't do anything. He walked over to her and looked down at her. She couldn't do anything, and she was most likely dying. What should he do now?

[Naruto]

"Stay away from me,"Akuma panted,her eyes hard. She struggled again to her paws,this time able to slump on her uninjured leg. She gasped in pain when her shoulder reacted,but didn't fall again.

Kraze stepped back from the white wolf. She wanted him to get away, so he did. What was he to do with now? Could he still tell her to leave in this condition? In this weather? "Who are you?" He asked her.

[Naruto]

"Akuma,"she panted,her eyes drooping in exhaustion. Her pelt was stained and torn,and her belly grumbled,a sign that she hadn't eaten in days. Her gaze left Kraze to travel along the forest line,eyes taking in dew-laden ferns and rustling trees and bushes. A few flowers lined the clearing,their delicate petals curling inward,as though trying to catch the rain.
