Deathpaw strode out of camp, feeling grouchy. He slashed at a nearby tree, its sap sticking to his claws, and sighed. It wasn't the same as sinking his fangs into flesh... He shook his head, then wandered over to the lake, begining to lap.

After finishing the last thread up pretty much, Orchardpaw was ready for this new one, but what did it hold...? Secrets only known by twolegs. Yes, and she wouldn't try to figure them out. She didn't even know they existed.

She walked with dainty paws searching around for nothing and something at the same time. She knew it was here, and she knew it wasn't. Maybe it was... there! No, it didn't even exist. Orchardpaw turned her head away from the one hill that sat in the territory. Man... this was hard.

[Wolvine]

OOC: What? O.O

At the sound of pawsteps, Deathpaw rocketed up the clawed tree, his eyes staring down at the ground below. He caught sight of Orchardpaw, and an idea burts into his head. He lepts down silently and padded towards her, licking his lips .

OOC: Deathpaw is a little weirdo.

Orchardpaw sighed, her ears drooping a little. You know,maybe she was wasting her time. She looked to the side as she heard rustling from one of the few trees in the territory. First, she saw nothing, but before she turned her head away she saw Deathpaw jump down and head towards her.

She didn't know what he wanted, but she wasn't in the mood to talk. She flicked her tail in some sort of greeting and padding gloomily on. Why were her days so... terrible?

[Wolvine]

OOC: Yes. Yes he is

"Orchardpaw! Wait." Deathpaw's tail curled and he unshealthed his claws.

OOC: And he's a creeper. XD

Orcharpaw looked gloomily at Deathpaw. What did he want? She noticed that his claws were unsheathed, but took no alarm from it, he always had his claws unsheathed for something or other, right? That was just Deathpaw. At least he kept the camp in balance. Too many crazy cats in there, you know?

"Yeah?" She said without enthusiasm.

[Wolvine]

Deathpaw smirked and lept at Orchardpaw, claws in front of him, mouth open.

Orchardpaw's eyes went wide as she watched Deathpaw come towards her. Reacting quickly, she rolled out of the way, unsheathing her claws. "What's wrong with you!?" She yowled at him. She hoped her was doing some sort of test, or just playing games, but this wasn't funny.

What was wrong with him?

[Wolvine]

"Nothing. I'm just trying to help." Deathpaw laughed, aiming another attack. "I've seen how glum you've looked recently, and I feel that death would be the best for you, I mean, there are so many things worse, aren't there?"

Orchardpaw was stunned by what he said. He was going to kill her!? She may be sad, but... she didn't want to die! Her hesitation gave her little time to move and she was hit across the cheek. THe wound was deep, and if Deathpaw has gotten more he could have ripped a hole straight through her mouth. She backed up, not sure of what to do, run or fight back.

"Just stay back!" She said, fear in her voice.

[Wolvine]

"We both know if I let you get away now you would blab away to the clan." Deathpaw's amber eyes glinted. "They would throw me out, and I can't let that happen at least till I'm made a warrior. I'll have more skill than those traitors that way." He lunged forwards, his crooked claws aiming a scratch at her throat. "No. I have to silence you forever now."

Orchardpaw jumped out of the way again, fear making her steps quick. She was too afraid to attack him. Is this what Deathpaw was like? He thought them of traitors. It made her sick, so sick thinking about this cat. "I won't say anything! I swear!" She backed up, trying to make room between him and her. What would she do!? She couldn't think, she could barely run.

[Wolvine]

"How do I know that? Everything else I've known has been a lie!" Deathpaw charged at her, hissing.

[Member]

"Becuase I could die, that's why!" She yowled at him. She watched as Deathpaw charged towards her. She didn't think she could dodge, if she tried, he could just turn and chase her down. She did the only thing she thought she could. As he near he she raised her paw and slashed at his face, hopefully making the damage greater with his momentum.

[Wolvine]

Deathpaw snarled as he felt claws rake down his face. He stepped back, face down, looking at his face in a puddle the rain had left behind. His shoulders began to shake back and forth, his laugh becoming louder as he raised his head, the blood of the wound dripping down his face. "You'll pay for that."

Fear gripped Orchardpaw like a python. He was crazy! Insane! A psycopath! He scared her, scared her frozen. What kind of cat was this? She backed up, perfectly afraid. If she could even get away, would it ever even end?

She turned and ran, ran somewhere, in some direction, desperately trying to get away from this cat. She couldn't fight him, she just couldn't. She had to find freedom some other way.

[Wolvine]

OOC: AW WHAI SHE RUN? D=

Deathpaw hissed and ran after her, his long, swift strides eneabling him to keep her in sight. No, shee would tell someone for sure. Where would that leave him?

OOC: So she doesn't... um... DIE!? XD

Orchardpaw looked behind her. She could see the brown pelt of Deathpaw coming closer and closer. Why did he have to be so fast? Why did he have to be so frightening? Why did he have to kill her why her?

She tried to run faster, but she didn't feel like she was covering more ground, she only felt like she was going slower and slower. StarClan help me!

[Wolvine]

Deathpaw storde out, grinning. "Come now, even if you do survive, how will you bear seeing me everyday, knowing if you breathe a word I'll be at your throat? Its much easier to give yourself up now!"

OOC: But he just wanna poke a hole in her neck D=

OOC: SHUDDAP, WOLVINE! I'M HAVING FUN! DX

Orchardpaw's eyes widened. It was true... so true. Her nest was literally right next to his. He could kill her so easily in her sleep, as if it was nothing. How could she stay calm if she had to lay and sleep next to the one who scared her most? Just so she wouldn't die? It would be better to just end it there... wouldn't it? Just to make it all easier... How long could she keep quiet under such pressure?

She started to slow down at the thought, so inviting. It could just be so easy. But, then again... she was really good at keeping quiet. She spun around quickly, facing Deathpaw. She only had two options. Fight and possibly die, or try and make a deal with this insane cat. She thought the dying part would be the only thing she could succeed in. But it was good to try, right?

Pushing away all her doubts she lunged at the cat as he came towards her, hoping to knock him back, so she could get a claw wound in him.

[Wolvine]

Deathpaw slowed down as he saw the cat turn, but not enough to avoid another scratch. He hissed and aimed a punce at the cat's neck, teeth at the ready to close in on her throat.

OOC: I'm bored now...

Orchardpaw was too close to act, in an instant, she felt teeth meet her throat. All at once she found regretcome over her. She should have just kept running, kept going back towards... somewhere. Maybe she could have turned and gotten back to camp. The end would have been different then. If she died, then maybe they would have known, right?

But now it seemed for nothing, and she could only stand there, waiting as it felt as if she was simply holding her breath, for the feeling to turn to suffocation.

Was this what it was like? What it was like to be a caught mouse?

Deathpaw grinned, and bit deeper, then relaxed his grip, allowing Orchardpaw to slip through his teeth, knowing that she would proboaly be too wounded to run.

[Sneezewhisker]

Cherrydapple had heard crashing through the undergrowth, and had sprinted to hear what was going on. When she saw Orchardpaw lying motionless near Deathpaw's paws, she was horrified and outraged. "What did you do!" She screamed. "Why did you kill her?!" She lunged at Deathpaw, going as fast as she could.

[Wolvine]

OOC: This is a CLOSED thred. -.- We will ignore you, and Orchardpaw isnt dead yet either. She's not dead till Mambo says she is =3
