Akuma felt like her fur was going to burn off,and she dipped her head,embarrassed. Her heart hammered loudly in her chest,and she laughed a little,thinking he was sure to hear it. "Um..."she said,suddenly feeling very shy.

Kraze tilted his head at Akuma as his mind cleared. She looked... uncomfortable. "You okay, Akuma?" What was the problem? Was it something he did? He thought back and couldn't even remember that he had licked her after his crazy rolls.

"Nothing."Akuma said quickly,casting him a sly glance. She giggled and prodded his side again. "Admit it. I'm faster than you."

Well, she said nothing. Kraze prodded her back when she did it to him. "No, because I'm telling the truth and you know it." He laid down on his side and pushed her with his paws. "Come on... admit it..."

"Come on, don't lie to me like that," Kraze said, giving her another little push with his paws. He looked awful goofy in his position. "I'll catch you a nice deer if you do," he tried to persuade her. Kraze shot her back a challenging look. Yeah, just admit it.

"Oh all right. You're faster than me. But I'm stronger than you!"she said,nudging his shoulder with her head. Akuma's eyes were sparkling with happiness.

"Ha! I knew it!" Kraze grinned in triumph. She may have been faster than him, but he got her to say she was right. "Stronger?" Hm... now, he didn't think that was right. "Fine, I'll give you that." Eh, if he steals speed then she could steal strength.

Akuma laughed and rolled over,exposing her bely as she looked up at the sky. "What are these "StarClan"? I've heard the other wolves talking about it."

"StarClan?" Kraze sighed before speaking. "StarClan is the were the pack of our ancestors go, right up there with the cats pack elders too." He nodded. "StarClan is were all wolves and cats go when they die, right in Silverpelt, the territory of StarClan, so long as they believe in them, of course."

Kraze's fur prickled as it started to heat up again. Best friend, he really didn't think Akuma thought of him like that. "R-Really?" He asked her with an odd tilt of the head.

"Well I didn't know you liked me that much." Kraze grinned. "Makes me wonder." The black wolf leaned into Akuma as well. His pelt started to blaze as he felt her against him. It was so hot he was sure she could feel it too.

Akuma said nothing,her pelt blazing hotter than the sun. It felt nice,being with Kraze like this. Her heart beat was thundering;she was sure he could hear it. "I really do like you."she whispered,closing her eyes and relishing the closeness that she had not allowed from anyone else after her parents' deaths.
