Kraze lay in the grass, looking out in the forest. The mud clung to his fur from the rain that never seemed to cease. He liked it out here. There wasn't a lot of noise from his clanmates that could be so obnoxious some of the times. Even if they weren't, he'd still come out here and enjoy his time away. In the silent forest, where he could think about anything, and let his thoughts roam around like a deer on the move.

[Naruto]

Akuma padded up to Kraze,her wounds having healed. "Um,hey."she said awkwardly,plopping onto the ground beside him.

"Hello, Akuma," Kraze greeted her dreamily, his mind somewhere else. He was barely paying attention, just going through his mind. Wait... Akuma! Quickly, Kraze jumped back to the present time and looked to the white wolf with more awareness.

[Naruto]

Akuma stared at him for a moment. "Have you got thistle in your head?"she asked,poking him with her paw. There was an amused glint in her eyes. "They finally let me out of camp!" She wagged her tail,happy. "There were too many wolves in there. I thought I'd go crazy!"

Kraze's eyes widened in realization. Yes! She was out of camp! He let out an accidental yelp of happiness. Hearing himself, he quickly shut his mouth and looked at Akuma with a nervous look. "Uh... that's good," he tried to say more professionally.

[Naruto]

Akuma laughed;her voice was carefree and happy. "You sound happy."she mused,closing her eyes briefly. It had been scary,after she had passed out,Kraze had taken her to the shaman,who'd healed her. She'd had to stay in camp for what seemed like forever,but now it was done.

"I'm just glad your out now," Kraze replied to her, trying to sound less eager. She had been gone for so long. Every time he came out here in the forest he would think about her, thinking about how she'd end up, and now she was out.

[Naruto]

"Me too."Akuma murmured,laying her head on her paws. Rain spotted her pelt,quickly soaking her. She looked up at the sky and blinked as a raindrop exploded on her nose. She shook her head,likely splashing water all over Kraze.

"Hey!" Kraze laughed when Akuma shook herself, "not all on me!" He felt the trickle of rain flow between the hairs on his pelt and touch his skin. It felt weird, and instinctively he shook himself as well.

[Naruto]

Laughing,Akuma sprang to her paws,her eyes shining. "C'mon! Run with me!"she barked,tensing her legs. She felt energy fill her limbs,along with that same warmth from before. Her tail was wagging so fast it looked like it was lashing.

Kraze jumped up as well and gave Akuma a challenging look. "I'll so beat you," he said with a smirk. He tensed himself, ready to run on Akuma's mark. Kraze was a fast dog, but was Akuma faster? Well, he'd figure out eventually. He his tail wagged in his excitement. This will be fun.

[Naruto]

"Your on!"she said,smirking too. "Go!" She leaped forward,her back legs rocketing her forth. Akuma was up ahead,as she had the head start.

Kraze bolted off after Akuma. Her head start gave her an advantage, but he quickly started to gain on her. He dug his claws into the ground and pushed himself off, making him go faster. He was about five feet behind her before he had to start really pushing himself to get past her.

[Naruto]

Akuma looked like a flash of white,racing through the trees. She noticed Kraze catching up to her and smiled. "Now who can't beat who?"she called back,her voice filled with exertion and amusement.

"You had a head start!" Kraze laughed as he pushed himself to move faster. He only went up a foot. Hm... it seemed as if Akuma was faster than him, but not by that much. He tried to make himself move faster, but it was futile.

[Naruto]

Akuma laughed,not pushing herself to go faster. "How about we finish this at those trees?"she panted,nodding ahead to two trees that curved over together,making a gate of sorts.

Kraze looked at the leaning trees and nodded his head. That was the finish line. Kraze pushed himself more, going a little faster until he was level with Akuma. That's as far as he could go, he couldn't move faster if he tried. His eyes were locked on to trees, watching them come closer.

[Naruto]

Akuma didn't push herself any faster,staying level with Kraze until they both crossed the finish line. "Tie!"she declared with a laugh,plopping down on the ground.

"So I didn't beat you, but I got close," Kraze said before throwing himself down next to Akuma and rolling himself over on his back. He panted and looked up at the sky. The rain fell harder now and made him blink every time it fell near his eyes.

[Naruto]

"Yeah,right. I could have beat you with one paw behind my back!"Akuma scoffed,her eyes glowing with amusement.

[Member]

"Lies!" Kraze barked as he turned his head to Akuma. "You know I would have so gotten you. I wasn't even trying," he lied. He was trying... a lot.


No immediate muse

[Naruto]

"Lie? Why would I lie?"Akuma said in an innocent voice,poking Kraze's side with her paw.

"Because you want to impress me," he said, rolling onto his stomach again, "with your amazing loner and pack skills." Such a silly thought, yes indeed. It was a laugh just to think that, a large one. Oh, but he was just improvising with the first thing that came to mind.

[Naruto]

She laughed. "Well,you got me there."she teased.

"Ha! I knew it!" Kraze said victoriously before himself right next to Akuma and gave her a I-so-knew-it lick. He grinned at Akuma. So much rolling around, it almost made him dizzy. He could barely think right without getting a sickening felling in his stomach. He couldn't even think of what he just did.
