"That's what this is about!" Bengalbelly yowled at her, his anger returning again. "Being wanted? You're more of a mouse-brain than I thought you were. You've done all this because you didn't feel loved! All you cared about was yourself. Nothing more. I'm sure you didn't think about any other cats lives that may have been much worse than yours! you don't need parents or cats to love you just to know that!"

Heatherpaw bristled,and tears ran hot down her cheeks. "You think I don't know that?!"she spat,anger seeping into her voice. "You think I like seeing how much better my life is compared to a lot of cat's?" She lashed her tail,storm clouds gathering as her temper flared. "Now I have to live everyday as a nightmare,and oh the irony. I already thought life was miserible,and now I'm dead. I have to watch as other cats pass by,going to NightClan or StarClan. And I'm stuck here. All because I was too selfish to see that if I wanted attention,all I had to do was look around. Bad attention is better than no attention."she snarled and paced away,the ground opening behind her as her pain overwhelmed her. She looked back over her shoulder at him. "And it didn't help that the cat I trusted most in the Clan killed me." And she was gone,nothing but a wisp of moisture.

The cat I trusted killed me...

The words echoed around the the black void. Over and over again, bouncing around off... absolutely nothing. He was the only one she trusted... Him.

Anger flared through Bengalbelly and his bloody fur bristled. he yowled in anger and ran after Heatherpaw. Blood flew off his body as he ran toward her with everything he had. He growled as he got closer to the opening in the ground. He ran faster and faster reaching the hole...

Bengalbelly jumped awake. He looked around him, everything was fine. He looked down at his paws, seeing pieces of moss stuck in his claws. He grabbed them in his teeth mouth and pulled them off. He examined his claws before sheathing them again.

Everything was fine. All he saw was just a dream. Heatherpaw's death must have affected him more than he thought it did. Ah, he had to get over it, and he'd do it quickly. He rose from his nest and started outside. He stopped at the entrance, hesitating. For a second he thought the rain was red... like the blood he had seen.

Bengalbelly shook himself. Bah, nonsense, what was he doing? It was just a dream. He walked out of the den and into the clearing, it was time to do something. As he walked he remembered all in his dream. None of that was anything, but a dream. Heatherpaw is still a mouse-brained piece of fox-dung that called for her death and got it. Who was I as her mentor, to deny her that? He kept walking on. If any of that did mean anything, then Heatherpaw should have thought about what she was getting herself into before she broke my trust.

Even as much as he thought it was fake, his pelt bristled as the eerie, sharp, metalic scent of blood flooded to his nostrils...

A shimmering prescence escorted Bengalbelly outside,her eyes flaring. She leaned in close to whisper in his ear,"The cat I trusted killed me..." before fading,only a dull vision of her startled green eyes as the boulder fell.
