Smallpaw Needs a Mentor

Smallpaw lounged outside the apprentices den, soaking up the rays of the sun. She watched as the kits played, warriors and elders shared tounges, and the apprentices left with their mentors.
"I wish I had a mentor..." The newly made apprentice sighed. "Then I could train, hunt, and serve my clan more..."
Smallpaw started to drift off to sleep.

Mountainstar who was looking for a mentor for Amberpaw saw Smallpaw and knew that she needed a mentor too. Another one to look for. he thought.

Smallpaw jolted awake with the feeling of being looked at.
Oh, it's just Mountainstar... Smallpaw thought, looking relieved.
She sat up and started to groom her chest.
