"Battle Train!"Heatherpaw mewed excitedly. She lashed her tail with excitement. "I'm gonna beat you!"

"Okay," Bengalbelly mewed as he got into a battle stance. "Hit me with the best move you can think of." He grinned at her and ready himself for the attack.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw sat and looked like she was concentrating,wrinkling her nose and looking at her mentor's paws. She darted,still aiming for his paws,and at the last moment,pulled up by pushing her paws into the mud,to strike at his throat.

OOC: Is she TRYING to kill him? XD Well, their claws are sheathed so...

Bengalbelly watched as she ran to him. He dodged from the way when she went from his neck and batted her in the head with his paw. "A good start, but with as attack like that young enemy could easily knock you over."

Heatherpaw huffed as he batted her head and darted again,trying to grab his front paw to trip him as she slid under him.

When Heatherpaw grabbed his paw, Bengalbelly began to lose his balance and trip over. He felt her sliding under him, hopefully having a plan.

Heatherpaw,having successfully slid under her mentor,yanked his paw,hopefully causing him to expose his under belly. Her green eyes shone with a fierce light,and her fur was caked with mud.

Bengalbelly flipped over on to his back, his fur now muddy. The wind was almost knocked out of him when he landed on his back; the cold mud seeped under his fur, sending chills through him.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw jumped up on top of the larger cat,putting her teeth mouselengths from his throat. "Was that good enough?"she hissed,her eyes shining.

Bengalbelly grinned and used his back legs to kick Heatherpaw off him before rolling over back on his stomach and standing up and shaking himself. "It was... alright for a first time, but nothing that could be effectively used in battle. You have... some things you need to improve on." He turned to face her then, eyes still narrowed, still looking as angry and hostile as they did when they first cam out here.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw landed in the mud with a splash,feeling the cold water seep into her fur. She got up and looked at him defiantly,her eyes narrowed as well. "But you didn't see it coming. How would a different cat react?"

"A different cat could have knocked you over and pinned you down on the first move, that's what different cat could do." He flicked an ear when a drop of rain began to flow inside of it. Rain, so irritating.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw growled in annoyance. "But still!" And she stalked into the undergrowth,ferns waving behind her. She grumbled incoherently about how her mentor had to push everyone to hard. She reached a tiny clearing,with a big tree in the middle. Perfect place to train...

Heatherpaw jumped into the air,swiping at the already scarred bark. This ones deeper than last time, she thought with satisfaction,gouging another mark into the tree. She huffed and panted when she reached the grass again,tired.

Bengalbelly shrugged when Heatherpaw stalked off in the undergrowth. She'd learn eventually, one way or another. He turned and walked back to camp, he wasn't going to stay in this rain. He'd end up getting sick or something, though, he was surprised he wasn't sick already.

Tomorrow was a new day, and he and Heatherpaw would be back here tomorrow and the next day, forever, until she got it right.

Heatherpaw eventually gave up when she saw huge gouges in the tree,and trotted back to camp. Her ginger pelt was muddy brown now,from slipping and falling in the mud.
