There's something in the Air Empty There's something in the Air

Post by Edward Thu Jun 25, 2009 12:39 pm

ShadowStar lounged outside her den, sunbathing in the cool summery air. Her tail flicked every so often, twitching away flies and leaves that blew gently onto her fur. Her heterochromic eyes watched everything, from a blade of grass a few fox-lengths away, to the wings of a raven flying high overhead. But, despite her carefree appearance, she was uneasy.

Shadow could sense that something was wrong, some tension blown in on the breeze, and she lay completely on her side and closed her eyes, trying to relax on such a calm day. All the warriors had their duties, and the Clan itself was peaceful...Basking in the warm morning light, she tried not to think and to rest some more. After all, she had to get back to her leader duties soon. She couldn't laze around for long, even though she had just returned from her long journey to see if they could expand their territory. Although, they couldn't expand far - cats would be unwilling to go such a long way to place scent markers every other day, and there was a human settlement near the edge of the suitable territory ground. Thus, she had not placed scent markers and had returned with her Deputy empty-pawed.

Mountainstar stepped into the den, "You don't suddenly barge in, claim this clan, take over permission and take over my den!" he growled. "I have been approved by StarClan to be the new RiverClan leader!"

"StarClan has not un-approved me." stated ShadowStar calmly, sitting up. "I have always been with this clan, and I have never left nor tried to claim it. It was always mine."

She twitched her tail slightly. "What gives you the right to come here, take over my clan and my den?" she hissed softly, her fangs glinting in the light.

"Because you were announced dead, it's not our fault you took of with out telling us. Sorry, I am the rightful leader. Get out of here, I am the strongest battler in the clan," he hissed.

"Oh really?" ShadowStar rolled her eyes. "In that case, the Clan must've gotten weak under your control while I was away." she stood up and yawned. Oh great. Now my one day to relax is ruined. she grimaced.

Padding round Mountain in a semi circle, ShadowStar flicked her tail confidently. As if... she thought to herself. "I am not dead. I have all nine of my lives. I am still leader."

"I went to the snowstone, they want you there. StarClan announced me as the leader of RiverClan." he hissed.

The Snowstone? *Icestar pads in* I am Ancient RiverClan's leader. Why are you arguing? Anyway, I think that when I decide who of these two warriors ae more noble, I shall help the noble one.

OOC: Ice-san first of all, Riverclan has already a leader. Second, you can't start RPing until you bio got approved. And since RC has a leader, it is not.
And by the way, this topic is HALF A YEAR old, so don't post in it.
