Lookin' For a Buddeh

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Sunflower padded back toward the middle of the clearing, toward the fresh-kill pile. She picked a fat thrush and looked around for Silverstar, Rainpelt, Moonpaw, or Lillypaw. Anyone would be good to talk to. She was tired of sitting around the nursery. She yawned and choose a warm patch of sun and took a bite of the thrush.

[MorningDew]

"Hello Sunflower," MorningDew called across the clearing, " may I sit with you?" "I quite need some company." PLEASE!! MorningDew pleaded in her head. She was very bored sitting in her nest all day. She felt like she should share some fresh kill. Maybe it will make me feel better.

Rainpelt padded over towards Sunflower with a plump mouse in her jaws.
"Hi Sunflower, Hi Morningdew. May I sit wth you?" she asked

"Of course you may!!" I'm soooo glad for all this company!! "Is it okay with you Sunflower?" she asked.

Sunflower smiled brightly at her Clanmates. "Of course!"
She tucked her paws under her to make room for her friends in the sun patch. She pushed her thrush over to Morningdew. "I've got some to spare," she mewed brightly.
Looking over to the orange tabby deputy, she purred, "So how is Lillypaw's training?" The apprentice had been like a daughter to her for the short time Sunflower had known her as a kit.

"She is good, and a very fast learner, I taught her some basic battle moves today and in a few trys she nailed it." Rainpelt explained.
"Anythiny new?"

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Sunflower was pleased to hear that Lillypaw was doing well. "Not much, just taking care of my kits. I can't wait till they're appprentices and I can move out of the nursery." she paused to yawn. "But I do ike Sandface's company."
"I can't wait for the next Gathering. I want to ask Silverstar about attending this next one." she her mind wandered blankly.

"I'm sure she'd let you go this one, if not I'll talk to her." Rainpelt meowed.
Finishing up the remains of her mouse, flopped down on to her stomach, taoday had been a long day.

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw padded up to them. "Hello, can I sit with you please?" Lillypaw asked them, she missed the comfort that Sunflower had given her as a Kit.

"Yes you may." Rainpelt answerd

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw dipped her head and then sat down and started to eat the Mouse that she had brought over from the Fresh-Kill Pile.

[MorningDew]

"Hows the mouse, LillyPaw?" MorningDew asked, trying to make conversation.

[Lillyflower]

"Fine thankyou" Lillypaw purred, then she tunred to her Mentor. "Im sorry that I went out of Camp without you knowing. Also I did not cross the Border only Rainpaw" Lillypaw meowed.

[Cheesles]

Dawnfur saw her chance to get her good news in the air. She picked up a pigeon and padded quietly over to the group.
"May I sit with you? I have some very exciting news!" She said hopefully.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Sunflower was listening to Lillypaw's meow with a slight scowl on her face. "Why did you go in the first place?" she leaned over and licked a stray tuft of fur that was sticking out on the apprentice's shoulder.
Sunflower's ears pricked as Dawnfur approached. She scooted over to make room for her. "Well, let us hear it!" she nudged the she-cat's shoulder with her muzzle, taking her gaze away from Lillypaw.

[Lillyflower]

Lillypaw sighed "I wanted to go hunting!" Lillypaw hissed.

[Cheesles]

Dawnfur cleared her throat.
"May I sit with you?" She said getting empatient.

[Lillyflower]

"We said yes" Honeypaw meowed.

Dawnfur sat down gingerly protecting her unborn kits inside her stomach.
"Well very simple. Ravenfeather and I are expecting kits! 5 I we think. I am going to talk the medicine cat later about it. Have any of you had kits? And whats it like?" Dawnfur sighed now that her secret was out.

[Lillyflower]

"Well as you know I am to young to have Kits" Lillypaw meowed with a hint of amusment in her Voice. "But I think all you need to do is wait, then when they come just look after them" Lillypaw meowed gently.

[Cheesles]

"Do you want kits? I know I am very pleased and I am sure Ravenfeather is too!" She was so glad that Lillypaw was interested.
"Maybe you could come look after them from time to time. Oh and play with them!" She added.

[Lillyflower]

"Don't worry I will" Lillypaw purred. One day she hoped to have Kits, with her one ture love.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

"I'd love to help look after them when they're born, too." Sunflower chimed brightly. She turned to Morningdew. "How've you been lately?"

Rainpelt listend to what the other she-cat had to say. Wow Dawnfur was having kits, they would be in the nursery together.

"Well I have news aswell, but you can't tell Redfur, I want it to be a surpise. I am exepting kits too!" she whisperd.

Mistkit mumbled softly as she landed on her nose in front of the queens. She had been practicing battle moves and stumbled,landing on her face. The tiny silver kit got up quickly,muttering something quietly. "Jump left,claw,kick,"she repeated the battle moves she had seen the apprentices doing earlier. She leaped again,clawed the air,and kicked out with her back paws. She landed well,but as soon as her back legs touched ground she slumped sideways and fell again. 'That would get me killed in battle!'she thought worridly,spitting out a mouthful of sand.
