Koi, The Lost Kit

[Amberstorm]

Koi lay in a pile of leaves and on something very soft. It was very warm. Was it... moss? Yes, that must be it. She shivered as rain drops splattered her multi-colored pelt. She didn't want to look up. Her ears would get cold, and she didn't want that. All she wanted to do was sleep right now... In the blissful night with the leaves blowing. However, it was not night, as she thought. It was dawn. A feather floated down from the bird's nest far above and landed on Koi's nose. Her minty green eyes opened and stared at the feather. It was blue... and it had flecks of brown, she noticed. It was soft on her nose, but she blew it off with a quick, short breath. Koi then resumed her tired sleep. If no one came for her, she didn't care. She could stay like this forever.

Raindapple padded leisurely through the forest, her eyes bright. It wasn't long until they had to leave... So she was contributing everything she had for the benefit of the Clan. She'd, again, left her kits in the care of another queen so that she could hunt.

The sharp scent of an unfamiliar cat hit her nose, and she bristled, rushing forwards. If it was one of the other Clans... But wait. It wasn't a Clan scent, although it smelled more of ThunderClan than loner or rogue.

She was busy looking for a huge cat, so when she tripped over a small bundle on the ground, she winced and cursed, thinking it was a rock. She looked back, about to glare at a seemingly inanimate object, when she saw fur. Soft, fluffy kit-fur. "Oh great StarClan," she breathed, rushing to the tiny cat's side.

[Amberstorm]

Koi squeaked a bit as she was tripped over by something much bigger. She shivered as rain drops hit her warm, fluffy pelt. Koi looked up, her eyes cloudy from sleep. She saw another cat. A she-cat. Koi seemed comfortable with her. Koi felt a warm, fuzzy feeling inside her.
"Mom?" She mewed curiously, whiskers twitching.
"So there you are..." Little did she know that her memory had been erased by trauma. She thought that she had been in this nest her whole entire life, and now this she-cat seemed so familiar.

[Naruto]

Mom? Raindapple blinked. This little kit seemed to be lost... And clearly mistook her for some other cat. Maybe because of her milk-scent? "What is your name?" she asked after some thought. "And, I'm not your mother. I'm a ThunderClan warrior."

[Amberstorm]

She was just about to say 'But you're my mother! You should know my name!', but the she-cat continued.
"What is a ThunderClan warrior?" Koi mewed. "Well... uh... I don't really have a name. You see... I can't remember. " She blinked, looking to the pale sky. Wow, it was dawn already. Never before had she heard the words before. ThunderClan? Warrior? She could have sworn that she had always lived with this she-cat, but was definantly having doubts.
(You shalt dubb her Koikit later. I called her Koi to call her something.)

[Naruto]

OOC: LOL Nice one.

Raindapple smiled softly. "ThunderClan is one of the seven Clans around here... I'm a warrior, or fighter. My goal is to protect the kits, queens, elders, and the leader of my Clan." she told her, curling her tail around her paws. She noticed the kit look towards the sky. What happened to her?

[Amberstorm]

"So... it's like... a big family, this ThunderClan? And there's more?" Koi mewed, still looking at the sky. She noticed another feather floating down from the heavens.

[Naruto]

"Yes. Very much like a family." She flicked her tail, motioning for the kit to come closer. "Would you like to see my Clan? You look like you're hungry, and you need some place dry to stay. Maybe you could play with my kits, too!"

[Amberstorm]

Koi looked absently at the queen.
"Okay." She mewed, and hopped out of the nest to follow the queen. There were other kits? Her heart skipped a beat. New kits! But... would she fit in at all?
"Play...?" She whispered to herself. What was playing?

[Naruto]

Raindapple purred. "Yes, play." she said slowly.
