Song of the frost (Cheese&Honey)

[Bumblebee~*]

Pinefrost headed in the direction of the sunning beach. He'd intended on going to the forest, but the weather was just so nice, and for some reason, his paws steered him to the sunning beach anyways, so he wasn't about to fight them. He smiled, eyes lifting to the clear blue sky. It was a beautiful blue, which the autumn leaf-coloured tom noted with another smile. Blue... Pinefrost closed his eyes and stopped walking.

The image of the sky in his mind quickly morphed into two sparkling orbs. Bluesong... His bright yellow eyes burst open and he turned around to see the exact same blue eyes. "Wanna go to the sunning beach? The weather is really warm today." He mewed, flicking his tail.

[Cheesles]

"Um, Pinefrost where already here!" Bluesong mewed chuckling to herself. She shied from his friendly gaze. She licked her chest, hiding her embarrassment. He's like any other cat! He's just a friend! You'll never be mates! She thought in her head. She shoke her ears, clearing her mind and focussing it on just relaxing.

Bluesong turned, her tail swaying enticingly. She padded towards the sand. She could hear the waves lapping on the shore. She breath in the lakes smell. It was kinda salty and mixed with the smell of riverclan. She found a rock that jutted out a bit. It was large, round and flat.

Bluesong flicked her tail, indicating they should sit there, and made her way towards it.

[Bumblebee~*]

Bright yellow eyes blinked in surprise. "Oh..." He'd lost track of time when he stared at her eyes... Wow, good job Pinefrost, you mouse-brain! He rolled his eyes inwardly and bounded after the sleek black she-cat, taking deep, long breaths of the refreshing sea(?)breeze. "Good choice!" He purred softly, leaping onto the sunwarmed slab of stone.

[Cheesles]

"Have you wanted kits?" Bluesong blurted out. She slapped her tail over her mouth and grinned sheepishly at Pinefrost.

MUSHELESSS.

[Bumblebee~*]

"Well... I suppose I have thought about it before..." Pinefrost murmured. He looked up and blinked at Bluesong with genuine curiousity. "Why do you ask?"

[Cheesles]

"Sorry, I just, you know, really want them too. But yeah..." Bluesong mewed, trying to avoid his gaze. "Don't mind me," She chuckled...

[Bumblebee~*]

"Oh, cool!" He smiled. She was adorable even when she was embarrassed! Pinefrost shook his head. What am I thinking? But he couldn't help but notice the way she averted her gaze when she was flustered. Lifting her chin with his tal, he purred, "What is there to be embarrassed about wanting kits?"

[Cheesles]

"Your right," Bluesong and mewed looking into his eyes. She could tell he liked her, and she liked him too. She realised for the first time how deep his eyes were and how handsome he was. "Pinefrost, I really like you.." Bluesong mewed looking at her paws and curling her tail around herself.

[Bumblebee~*]

Pinefrost blinked in surprise. Do I like her back? "I do..." He mewed aloud. "Like you too, I mean." He added quickly. Oh, what am I saying?" He sighed, but soon, a warm happy feeling spread from the tips of his whiskers all the way down to his tail tip. She likes me!

[Cheesles]

Bluesong could feel the feeling of excitement spread through her limbs and tail. She grinned with relief, and licked his check. "Your different to most other toms I know," She mewed looking into his eyes, her smile seemed to fade, "A good different..." And her smile crept back.

[Bumblebee~*]

"Am I?" Pinefrost laughed. He never considered himself as someone special, he just liked working hard to be a loyal, respected warrior of FireClan. He was nearing the age of a senior warrior... heck, he pretty much was one. "You're... unique. In a good way, of course. I've never met another she-cat like you before, Bluesong." He breathed.

[Cheesles]

Bluesong felt her ears burn with embarassment. "Thanks, Pinefrost..." She mewed.

[Bumblebee~*]

"No problem, Bluesong." He mumbled. This embarrassment came from deep within him, yet he couldn't look away from the beautiful black she-cat. So this is what it felt like to be in love.

It was...

nice.

[Cheesles]

"I think it might be a little too early for us to call each other mates." Bluesong mewed, hoping she wasn't being too forward. She honestly really liked him, she hoped that they would have their own kits some day.

[Bumblebee~*]

"Oh no, of course not! It's just... whenever you're ready, I'm ready." The last words came as a whisper, although he didn't know why they were being so quiet. They were the only ones at the beach, anyways.

[Cheesles]

"Wow, who knew you could fall in love soo quickly," Bluesong giggled. How long will it be before they had kits?

[Bumblebee~*]

I didn't, that's for sure. Pinefrost thought, letting a smile spread across his face. Getting up, he leapt off the rock and in to the water. "Come on, Bluesong! We might as well enjoy the day out here." He laughed, keeping in the shallower parts. His long limbs allowed him to enter deeper in to the water, but he wasn't quite ready to get himself entirely soaked.

[Cheesles]

Bluesong wasn't much for getting herself wet, she didn't like to get the water through her fur. But she thought, if her mate was doing it, then why not her.

She waded out into the water, just allowing her legs to get soaked, but being of the small build, Bluesong could not go far, and was still quite far from her mate.

[Bumblebee~*]

Pinefrost purred. "You don't have to come in if you don't want to. I just need to refresh myself, is all." He admired her courageousness though, and padded towards his mate.

Wow, she was actually his mate!

[Cheesles]

"Thanks Pinefrost!" Bluesong mewed gratefully, she turned to pad out but paused. She turned again and leapt towards her mate, splashing water all over him.

[Bumblebee~*]

"Alright, Bluesblrghblrgh!" Pinefrost spluttered as she leapt at him. "Hey!" He shouted mockingly, batting his paw at the water to splash it all over her. "I'll get you..." He growled teasingly.

[Cheesles]

Bluesong took a deep breath and dove under, swimming around and nipping Pienfrost on the leg. "Come get me now!" She called.

[Bumblebee~*]

Giving a low growl, he also took a large breath and stuck his head underwater. He tugged playfully on her tail before standing up and shaking the water out of his face and giving chase again.

[Cheesles]

Bluesong stratened up and padded towards Pinefrost, nodding her head to signalise peace. She flikced her ears, trying to get water out of them. She reached him an lead him into the shallows and sat down. "How did I get so lucky?" She mewed, looking into his deep eyes.

[Bumblebee~*]

Pinefrost purred. "I was wondering the same thing." He mewed, staring lovingly back at her. He blinked and pulled his gaze away, flushing under his multicoloured coat. "I'm going to, ah, dry off now." He smiled, padding to the shore to buy time. What does one say to their new mate anyways?
