Hazelspirit padded into her den, her jaws full of different herbs. She lay them down carefully and toke a large gulp of water from the little waterhole that was at the edge of her den. Water flowed into the den through a small stream that came from the Riverclan river, not far from camp.
She then licked her lips trying to wipe away the taste of the bitter herbs. She sat down beside the pile and began carefully sorting them.
