I do believe she is alive. I went to this site that is directly linked to the books, a warriors wiki, I believe. They list the status for every cat, either deceased, living, or unknown. They listed Hollyleaf as unknown. I believe that she is not truly dead because it is obvious that the authors are hiding something important. It's all a part of their grand plot, I think. It was never truly proven that she died. No one found her body under the rocks.

I don't believe she's dead. I think that she'll lose her memory or something and go do something with Sol. BECAUSE in the book it said she wasn't as opposed to Sol as her brothers.

And besides, it's much more dramatic to have everyone think Holly's dead and then when she shows up one day and has like, discovered something or something that would make the series take a significant turn for the worse or the better. And then everyone's like HOLY SHANIZZLE I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD YOU HOMICIDAL FREAK--I MEAN HOLLYLEAF! WELCOME BACK!

I think she's dead because, well, why do they have to show her in StarClan or the Dark Forest? It's not like Jayfeather actually took the time to find her, and no cat thought to introduce her. The same with the Dark Forest.

And, they didn't find her body because, well, no one cared, and I don't even remember Jay and Lion telling them she died because they didn't want anyone to remember her by her killing her self. I think they just said she ran off.

I've read a question that a person asked Erin Hunter regarding this and she said something like: 'I'm not saying. I suppose you'll have to wait to find out.' She'll probably come back.

I didn't like the second and third series AT ALL. x.X I found it predictable, kind of boring, and worst of all, my second favorite evil cat (Hawkfrost) dies and Feathertail died. D< I hated the third series even more because I never did like the Power of Three idea. I miss the old forest so much, with its normal cats. Now the books are getting too magical. Hardly anything follows logic anymore. Half of the series was boring, and I just couldn't read Sunrise. B-O-R-I-N-G. Nothing happens except for the fact that a frinkin' innocent she-cat that did not need to die died! That made me so angry and upset with Erin Hunter... But with OOTS, I found the first book boring. But I saw great improvement in the series in book two, and I hope the three keeps fixing it.

If Hollyleaf was dead, they would have told us and not left it open. That would be the worst hook ever if we thought she wasn't dead but she really was all this time. She's alive, and we'll see her eventually.
