Shadowstar padded through the camp entrance. His paws were sore from the long journey. He padded towards the Fresh kill pile. He chose a small fish. Despite him going all the way to the Snowstone and back, he wasn't very hungry. And besides, even though it was New Leaf, the queens and elders definitely needed the bigger, plumper prey more. He limped towards his new den. His paws were torn and dry blood caked them. He licked one of his front paws and noticed his mate, Flarestorm.

[Naruto]

Flarestorm smiled as she saw her mate striding towards her. "Shadowstar!" she greeted warmly, her eyes shining.

OOC: Museless.

[Cheesles]

"I haven't seen you since the earthquake!" He mewed trotting towards her and affectionately nuzzled her cheek. "I'm so glad your safe." He sighed relieved.
"The whole journey, I was thinking about you, I couldn't wait to be back with you." Looking at his blood caked paws he mewed, "Do you want to come and share a meal with me." Not waiting for his mates answer. He leapt towards the fresh kill pile in only two or three long strides. He returned his small fish for a big one, for him and Flarestorm to share.

As he leapt back, Shadowstar gushed with shame. "I'm sorry, you must think terribly of me, that was awfully rude!" He mewed licking his mates ear.

[Naruto]

Flarestorm purred. "It's fine." she assured him, lying down. She caught sight of his paws and looked up in concern. "Are you alright?"

[Cheesles]

"Yeah, I'm fine!" Shadowstar mewed wincing as he lay down too. He managed to lick one of them, as it started bleeding again. Hopefully Flarestorm hadn't noticed.

[Naruto]

The ginger she-cat frowned. "Here," she mewed, pushing the fish towards him. "You're leader now. Take care of yourself better."

[Cheesles]

"No," Shadowstar mewed pushing the fish back, "You first. I'll go see Echodrop once we've finished." He mewed. "I wouldn't mind catching up with her."

[Naruto]

Flarestorm nodded uncertainly. "Alright." She took a bite of fish and had to fight scarfing the whole thing down. It was delicious, and her belly was empty from the days and days of rain.

[Cheesles]

Shadowstar could see his mate obviously liked this fish. He took a bite himself. He now understood his mate, this was the best fish he had ever tasted. "You know," Shadowstar mewed swallowing, "This fish is almost as sweet as you."

[Naruto]

She purred. "Thank you..." she murmured, hiding her eyes.

OOC: Cheesy. And museless.

Shadowstars let his tail flick her ear. He maneuvered it under her chin and pushed up lightly. He looked lovingly into her eyes. He hadn't been so in love since Spottedheart. Shadowstars eyes shone with love. "How did I get so lucky?"

[Naruto]

Flarestorm felt her fur blaze. "How did I get so lucky?" she echoed, her voice tender.

ooc: *throws up* I gotta bring Rain in, I just can't take this love crap anymore. xd

Rainpaw brought her fat carp into camp, (the one from the tryouts), it's great silver tailfin dragging on the grassy clearing. She dropped it on the fresh-kill pile and walked over to Shadowstar, without even thinking or acknowledging what was going on. "Hey Shadowstar, congratulations. By the way, many of the fish are in the river near the ShadowClan border. I don't think I've ever seen so many glints of silver in moons." she smiled, then noticed the two. Her ears flattened as her fur went hot with embarrassment, knowing she was being rude. "Forgive me, I'll speak with you later." she backed away a few steps.

Nightjaw ran out of the warrior's den, fur fluffed out. "Shadowcl- I mean, star!" He called, grinning. Then his pace slowed, his smile faded and his expression grew more solemn. He was his leader now, worthy of respect, and to be treated with such.

Flarestorm smiled. "It's fine, Rainpaw." she purred, tucking her paws underneath her chest. "Nightjaw," she greeted the warrior.

Shadowstar frowned. He knew this would happen. "Nightjaw," He mewed formerly, Oh what the hey. He leapt at Nightjaw and bowled him over. "Just cause I'm leader doesn't mean you need to treat me like one!" He purred. "I want everyone to treat me like any other warrior in the clan, like a friend."

Echodrop blinked her clear eyes towards Shadowstar, nodding to him respectfully. She padded over to him and his mate and spoke with a voice much older than her moons. "Welcome back Shadowstar. If you don't mind, I do believe we need a check-up and some herbs for strength. At least, the herbs that we have left after the den collapsed..." The last sentence was remorsefu land she remembered the trembling of the earth and her scrambling to grab everything she could. Luckily, about three quarters of the supply was still well-stocked.

[Cheesles]

"Echodrop are there any herbs missing that may need to be used for emergences? If so," Shadowstar nodded to Nightjaw, "I'd like Nightjaw to lead a patrol out with [insert medis name here], it'll be good to test her knowledge." He mewed turning respectively back to Echodrop. Shadowstar looked at his paws, "And Echodrop," He mewed before mewing again quickly, "actually no don't worry."

[Goldenstorm]

Rainpaw stepped in. "I could do it." her blue eyes shone bright as her fluffy black tail stood straight up. "If it's okay with you of course." she looked at Echodrop. "I know about some herbs, at least what they're called anyway."

[Cheesles]

"Hm..." Shadowstar mewed flicking his tail. "She needs to be made a warrior..." He mumbled under his breath thinking.
