A brown tabby tail flicked back and forth. Fernkit sat with her tail swaying behind her, her eyes closed in thought. She could see in her mind the fabulous territory of Fireclan, the dark territory of Darkclan, the swampy territory on Shadowclan and the thick forest of Thunderclan, and of course all the other clans. As she idly thought, what were the Starclan and Nightclan territories like?

Fernkit pondered the thought inquisitively. Wouldn't it be awesome if she could live the life of another clan cat for a day!

Hungrykit, licking his chops tastefully, stalked behind Fernkit, eyes slitted and sizing up his next meal. Juicy legs it seemed. Usually Hungrykit stalked with his brother, Teriyakikit, but today, he was going it alone. Fernkit was his yummy food. Directly behind her, the demented tom crouched and pounced, smushing Fernkit and clamping his jaws around her left hind leg. "OM NOM NOMNOMM"

Duskkit twitched her whiskers, amused. She padded over to Fernkit and knelt down. "Need some help there?"

Joltkit stared at the others from his nest, his golden eyes narrowed. "What a waste of time.." He mumbled, then closed his eyes and tried to imagine himself somewhere else.
