Sharp Words and Even Sharper Claws(Open)

[Naruto]

A loud clatter echoed around the empty beach, the sand overwhelmed by the still rising water. The clatter was caused by a falling stone, from atop a boulder that was at least three-tail lengths above the raging water. The stone landed with a loud splash, lost in the murky depths. It will travel far and wide, the sand polishing it and making it beautiful and smooth. It will have changed from being hard and craggly, with sharp edges, into a gentle pool-shape.

Yadda yadda. A small black she-cat, about half of her size composed of her thick fur, stretched out on top of the boulder, her eyes bored and full of hate. She was remembering her mother. Her traitor mother. If only she had lived... Then Hollypaw could have expressed her hatred to the old she-cat. She lashed her tail, sending another pebble into the river. That traitor never cared... She broke the warrior code over and over again. With out a care.

Brightpaw had been walking along the shore, the water lapping at her paws. She heard the sploosh of the pebbles and turned her head. A small black she-cat sat atop the boulder in the water, eyes narrowed with rage.
"Hollypaw?" she called, nearing the boulder.

ooc: lawls Hollypaw's starting to sound like Hollyleaf.
(I would've said Hollypaw's starting to sound like Hollypaw but it didn't seem proper because's I'm used to calling Hollyleaf Hollyleaf.)

Hollypaw looked down, eyes emerald slits. "What do you want, Brightpaw?"she questioned in a growl.

Brightpaw was taken aback at her tone. "I was just seeing if it was you, geez." she replied, pausing before continuing. "....what's wrong?" she ventured. Her friend was pretty much never like this. Something had to be bothering her.

Hollypaw got to her paws slowly, a sharp metallic sound coming from her scraping her claws on the rock. "Just thinking about my mother."she said, her voice full of hatred and fury.
