Naruto blinked awake, yawning widely. She was almost startled by the scenery;she was sleeping in a crude heather nest in a small dip in the ground a few tail-lengths from Sasuke. It was still dawn, as the very pale, misty form of the sun was just coming over the horizon of thick gray clouds. Snow lined the ground, starting to stick now that the temperatures had dropped even lower.

She didn't uncurl from the tight ball she was in, still somewhat warm. She snuggled down deeper into the frozen heather and sighed. She remembered now. After leaving ShadowClan territory, they'd decided to brave the frozen moorlands of WindClan on their way (possibly) to ThunderClan, or maybe even FireClan. She wasn't sure anymore. But she only knew where she was at the moment and reluctantly got up, stretching.

The silver she-cat got carefully out of the nest, trying not to wake her still sleeping friend. She still hadn't told him about the dream she'd had in ShadowClan, the one she'd shared with her two sisters about having to battle NightClan in the near future.

A pricked silver-gray ear twitched at the rustling of the frozen heather. The tom's eyes were open, but he had it to where they only looked closed. Sasuke sighed and got up from his spot, shaking off the frozen clumps of heather that broke off and clung to his long fur. He hadn't groomed it in a while, so the frozen heather didn't really make an effort to even try to slid out. The tom sighed again, his dull eyes scanning the area. No patrols yet... The silver-gray tom crept out of the makeshift nest and slinked up to Naruto. "Well, this is officially boring..." He mumbled half-heartedly.

"Everything's boring nowadays,"Naruto murmured, turning her head to look at Sasuke. He looks bad... She flicked her tail. At least he was making a microscopic effort to be like the old Sasuke/Foxkit. She reached out with one paw, tapping a piece of frozen grass. She didn't hear an annoyed chirp or anything of the sort as a result. "There's no prey here. Last night's frost probably killed it all or drove it into their burrows,"she mewed, twitching one ear. She'd gotten better at using her powers as a result of the dream, hoping to at least try to do anything to NightClan during the big battle.
