The patrol (Open)

[Wolvine]

Macavity sniffed the air. It felt good not to be hiding, but already he missed the freedom. Thi was the patrol Smoketail had ordered he should be in. This was his only chance to prove his worth. The lean ginger tom launched himself at a tree, scrambling up it expertly to get a good look below.

[Lynx]

Skimble looked up the tree. "Mac, what are you doing? We usally don't climb trees in patrols. You're behaving like a kit.", he joked.

[Wolvine]

"Well, maybe you should start!" Macavity meowed back, gazing in wonder. "There are so few trees around and so much moorland you can see for thousands and thousands of badger lengths!"

[Lynx]

"I do know that.", he mewed, and followed his friend on the tree. "What do you say about your new home, now that you see so much of it?"

[Wolvine]

"I don't know.." Macavity meowed, gazing in wonder.

My muse ran away. Will it ever come back?

[Lynx]

Skimble sat nothing. He felt the icy wind blow in his face and he closed his eyes to protect them. Then a strong wind came and knocked him off the tree. He gasped and unsheathed his claws trying to get grip.

[Wolvine]

"Skimbleshanks!" Macavity cried out, turning instantly and digging his claws into the cat's paws, tring to hal him up enough so that he could bite into his scruff.

[Lynx]

Skimble yowled in pain as he felt his friends claws in his paws, but he got grip and could climb up the branch again. "Thank you, Mac. But next time try to not claw my paws off.", he mewed and started to lick his paws.

[Wolvine]

"Next time try not to fall out of trees!" Macavity meowed in reply playfully. "Maybe I should have taught you how to climb trees without injuring yourself."

[Lynx]

"Hey we're having harsh winds here in Windclan! Especially now...", he mewed still licking his paws.

[Wolvine]

"Then howcome I haven't tumbled to my near doom then?" Macavity laughed.

[Lynx]

"Because you're Mac. As I said, we usually don't climb trees."

[Wolvine]

"Alright then. We'll get down." Macavity meowed, already half way there.

[Lynx]

Skimble nodded and jumped down, landing perfectly on a snow pile.

[Wolvine]

Macavity ywaned and rubbed his eye sleepily. His first night in camp hadn't been a good one. There where too many cats around for his liking.
