Checkin' Things Out

Moontail looked down into the lake, viewing her past Clan, as well as all the others. "Such suffering." she murmured, taken back. Something must be done to heal the vendetta between the Clans. Endless fighting and no prey were the deadliest of combinations, the Clans wouldn't survive if it kept up much longer.

[Naruto]

A pale gray she-cat walked towards Moontail,elegance and prowess in every movement of the young cat's body. Petalclaw,as she was called because of her extremely long front claws,had died just a few moons after becoming a warrior in her first battle defending her kit sister,Mistpaw. "Moontail,I know your sorrow. ThunderClan is suffering greatly as well because of it's large numbers,but the wolf's attack on WindClan weakened them even more."she mewed to the she-cat,sitting beside her.

[Goldenstorm]

"Yes. I remember when my Clan used to be strong and nothing threatened it. Now, everything is a delicate as a leaf in Leaf-fall. Something has to be done." Moontail watched the cats below in the lake. She was currently watching her son, Watertail, and her favorite kit Goldenkit. Who was now a warrior.

[Naruto]

Petalclaw followed Moontail's gaze,and she smiled at Goldenkit's-now Goldenstorm's- interest in the young warrior,Vixenstep. "He's got a crush,"she mewed softly,purring a little.

[Goldenstorm]

"Yes." Moontail smiled. "I love it when a warrior finds his mate. They always get embarrassed." the once old, now young warrior mewed.

[Naruto]

"Yes."she mewed softly,resting her tail on Moontail's shoulder. Then she looked down again,searching the WindClan camp. "The kits will have to hold on just a bit longer before the snow ends and the rain begins again."

[Hetalia]

Nightleaf stared at the lake for a few moments wondering how his clan was coping with leaf-bare."Hey,what are you two doing?"

[Naruto]

"Reminiscing. I remember when I was a kit you were still medicine cat apprentice."she mewed,looking over at him with green eyes alight with pale fire. Petalclaw sighed. "Now I sound like an elder. Talking about the old days..."she murmured affectionately,smiling.

[Hetalia]

"I remember too.You were the most playful kit in the whole clan.Are you going to visit Mistkit anytime soon?"

[Naruto]

"Mistpaw now."Petalclaw corrected,purring. "And I would like to,but the tensions with NightClan are so high....What if they attack while I'm gone? We need to have every cat we can."

[Hetalia]

"She became a apprentice? Congrats!" But as he thought about a war against Nightclan his smile faded. "I wonder what Tigerstar is going to do next."he growled."This won't be pretty..."

[Naruto]

"I know. Her mentor is Barkfur."she purred,happy for a second. "Yes. I wonder what that idiotic cat will do next.."

[Goldenstorm]

"Tigerstar has been drained of his power. Yet, I feel that he is still a threat to the safety of the Clans, he has many followers in NightClan now. We must watch carefully of the things that happen in our Clans." Moontail mewed sternly, gazing deep into the lake. "I will visit Goldenstorm and Barkfur. I knew both well before I died. I will have Clayshard visit Badgerclaw and Ferretflight. Badgerclaw was her son and Ferretflight was a very good friend of hers. Warn those you knew to watch carefully of danger that lurks, as I am." she advised.

[Naruto]

"Yes. I need to warn Mistpaw. You are aware that she has an unnatural connection with StarClan,aren't you?"Petalclaw murmured,eyes flashing with anger and fear as she spoke of having to warn her sister.

[Goldenstorm]

"I do now." Moontail mewed. "How?" she asked, suprised. "I've never seen a cat like Mistpaw have such connection with StarClan before. Has she been close to death before?"

[Naruto]

"Yes. She was very sick with green-cough just before the rain began."Petalclaw mewed,hanging her head in grief. She was upset that she couldn't protect Mistpaw anymore...And if her sister came to join her in StarClan anytime soon,then she couldn't bear it.

[Goldenstorm]

"That's it. She must have been so close to death, she was touched by StarClan." Moontail declared, her mew full of triumph. "Would you mind if I was to mentor her? How to use her powers?" she asked, her claws digging into the ground with anxiousness.

[Naruto]

"But of course. Barkfur is her real mentor;it would only make sense for a cat that was close to Barkfur to mentor my sister."Petalclaw mewed,eyes shining. "We should go to her now! She will be sleeping."

[Goldenstorm]

"Wise decision. You would have made a fine elder." Moontail shook her head, rising to her paws.

[Naruto]

"Yes,but then I wouldn't be here to give you guys all those great ideas."Petalclaw teased,standing as well.

Moontail chuckled. "You're not that good." Moontail swished her gray speckled tail in the air with amusement.

"Oh really?"she said wryly,smiling.

"You still have much to learn, Petalclaw." Moontail smiled. "Come, now we meet Mistpaw."

[Naruto]

"Yes. I warn you,she is very shy."Petalclaw purred,stepping forwards.

[Goldenstorm]

"Do I look scary to you?" Moontail questioned. She padded forward into the lake, to be cast into the dreams of Mistpaw.
